As usual, very comfy room and bed. I stay in a lot off Prem Inns. Evening meal was okay. Staff were very attentive but I cannot remember their names. Breakfast though! Such good fun with Philomena full of energy. The cooked breakfast was superb. One of the best I’ve had for a long time. Thank you Mario. Keep up the good work!!

Poorest Premier Inn Visited||You could be easily deceived into thinking what a lovely setting and equally the outside of the building is beautiful- i mean i thought that.||Dated room. Shower went hot and cold, signs of damp in bathroom, carpet filthy only good thing was the bed. Needs sorting out||Restaurant is nothing shy of crap! Lovely waitress who tried her best but food awful. Extremely limited

Upon arrival took an age to check in due to receptionist being alone. Finally checked in and had paid extra for a family room with a view of the canal and barges. Upon entering room if you stood on your toes and looked down out of the window you could see the barges !! Room was very dated and plain and had a run down feel to it. Went down into Bar if you could call it that !!! All pumps had been removed and we were told that they were running the place down as it was due to be renovated. Only drinks available were bottles in a small fridge. Could this not have been told to us prior to booking !!! ||Restaurant and Bar very run down so wasn’t looking forward to breakfast following day..||Ate out in town and returned to room.||4am heard a noise outside and decided to investigate. Only disturbed suspicious male looking into parked patrons vehicles. ||Following morning had breakfast booked for two adults and two children, tried to sit in a table looking out onto the canal but were ushered into a little room !!! By staff who insisted we sat in there!! ||I asked about the buffet and were told no buffet available but to order what we wanted (not the same as seeing it). I said I wish I had known about this prior to making the booking and was told by staff “DO YOU WANT TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE LIKE ” Nice ||Asked about the pancakes for kids. “RAN OUT”. Asked about bread for toast. “WE DONT PUT TOO MUCH OUT AS IT GETS WASTED, I WILL HAVE TO GET SOME”. ||As a regular PREMIER INN visiter this place was undoubtedly the worst experience of them all.||The whole Hotel was untidy, dirty and definitely ready for the work to be done. I’m sorry but all of this should have been on the website for all to view before committing one self to a booking Won’t be returning to this place

Worst premier inn I have ever stayed in, don’t know where to begin.||Was on a work trip, exhausted at my meeting due to the noise from the very busy road keeping me awake. Walls also paper thin. ||Place is so run down and everything has a weird smell, rooms are not nice, mine had dust everywhere. View was a skip and what looked like a junk yard. The ‘window’ felt like I was in prison.||Staff were friendly at breakfast, that was only saving grace. ||The restaurant is not a restaurant. Signs up saying residents only, and then only between certain hours. Again smells musty and isn’t fully open. Limited menu of mostly microwaved food.||WiFi is dreadful. ||Run down, noisy, dirty

As far as premier inn’s go this is a really decent one ||The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated over two buildings next to the canal and a five minute walk to the town centre. My room was very peaceful and had air conditioning.||They are in the process like many other premier inns of converting the adjacent pub over to the hotel (a good thing as most of these pubs offering was poor with horrendous service) but breakfast is still served there and just want to say the lady serving breakfast was fantastic

Fantastic stay for 2 nights the staff were very helpful and friendly especially one of the waitresses in the restaurant didn't catch her name, young girl very helpful! Also a compliment to Mario who was also very friendly and hospitable.

Will definitely the stay again soon!

My little boy was really poorly when we stayed and they looked after us so well nothing was too much trouble. The care and support was second to none.
Premier inn should be very proud of these members they certainly made our stay a lot easier.
