I had to write a review about this Premier Inn because the staff here are INCREDIBLE, which makes the whole experience so much better! They are clearly working really hard to create a friendly and welcoming hotel, even when it's a chain. Selina in particular was an absolute gem - I can't thank her enough for her help, friendliness, joy and kindness at breakfast (she even gave us a little handmade gift when we left, nothing to do with the Premier Inn, but just something she gives away to people as an act of kindness! We were so touched). Thank you Selina and the team for making our stay so great, really appreciate you and the work you do 🙂

The staff are brilliant and Selena on breakfast was exceptional but the hotel needs some work. The bathroom is horribly stained and rusted. Despite this the staff make it worth the visit and would recommend it. The pub next door is also lovely for a spot of food.

Where to start... this needs an update! I felt like i was in an asylum.|My company where a bit late on booking the hotel i requested and this was the next closest. I stopped in room 31, a wet disabled room, must have been the late booking assuming this was all they had left. Bathroom smelt fusty, bathroom fan made it smell worse. Window opened a little at least.no plug by the bed.bed not comfortable at all..massive zip up the middle of the double bed. I was itching all night so i could not settle. No evening meal provided here as the pub next door is not linked. Breakfast was the only thing salvaging a 2/5 fresh cooked to order and not the usual buffet style. Breakfast staff also very nice.

This was such a lovely experience. The staff were super friendly. Very attentive. The room was spotless and very cosy. Bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows were too. Breakfast was hot and fresh and plenty of drink choices as well. Receptionist (charlie) was very helpful and friendly. Lovely place!

We have stayed in many Premier Inns in the past and have always found them great, however the Premier Inn at Chantry is sadly lacking. The room was dated and in need of refurbishment and a better standard of cleaning. Also, despite taking our own fresh milk (uht milk is horrible) we were unable to drink the tea because of the awful taste, maybe this was due to the water |We really wouldn't come back here, £101 for one night was definitely not value for money.

Welcoming, friendly staff on arrival and during the stay, lovely warm room, spotlessly clean and everything I needed, extra refreshments always available at reception, no evening meal available but pub next door, breakfast available and choice and value excellent. Great location for A12. Not my first stay and happy to return very soon

Welcomed by friendly helpful staff, room was clean and warm.||Even though the hotel was very busy the room was quiet throughout the night. This hotel is well situated for the road network and has shopping areas close by as well. Overall just what we needed.
