Stayed for one night, price was good at around £50. Our room was very warm, there is air con but on the highest setting was very minimal. The windows say they have Restricted Opening for safety reasons but they actually just don't open at all.
They don't routinely offer late check out here, but generally check out is midday which is fair!
Location is nice, good for walking along the river and lots of restaurants about.

Easy check in. Really friendly and professional staff. Clean rooms and dining room. Nice food, good coffee machine and nice views of the marina. Only downside was dress code in the restaurant in the mornings, there were a few unwashed people some mornings allowed to sit in their pajamas and socks , feet up on the sesrs so that puts you off your cornflakes a bit first thing.

Lovely stay, comfy beds slept so well. Great food and very clean. |All staff so polite, friendly and welcoming, especially Jack who was very considerate and went out of his way to be helpful. Genuinely a really nice person and represents Premier Inn very well, as did all the staff.

Stayed just one night for a concert at the Regent Theatre. Easy parking free for disabled, which was a nice surprise at a premier inn. Usual comfortable room with all amenities required. Breakfast very enjoyable, good choice & value. Staff friendly & helpful.

We stayed for one night 16th September. Had telephoned beforehand to confirm that we could leave our backpacks until we could check in at 3pm as knew we would be arriving before that time, which was confirmed. Arrived about 12ish and was told that if we did want to check in early Whitbread now had the policy that this could be done but at a price of £10. The receptionist said that this should have been on our confirmation; which on reading it after getting home I could not see it anywhere. Anyway said we didn’t need to check in early as long as we could leave our backpacks which we were able to do. Come on Whitbread if the room is ready why can’t you check in early as you used to be able to. Female receptionist was very helpful and I asked if we could have a higher room so as not to be disturbed by road noise as there are roads at the front and back of the building, which when we checked in later she had arranged for us. Thank you.||Room was the usual Premier Inn. Room was clean except that the bottom of the toilet bowl did have a large brown stain; the rest of the toilet bowl appearing to be clean. What this was I didn’t investigate and as we were only staying for one night didn’t think it warranted moving rooms. I did report this to reception when we checked out. ||What I did like was that there was plenty of tea, coffee, milks etc in the reception area which meant you didn’t have to ask for extra as there are never enough left in the rooms – I have commented on this on many occasions before when writing reviews.||We went for the meal deal. Both the food for dinner and breakfast was very good. I did feel really sorry for the reception staff. They had to man reception as well as taking orders and serving the food. Evening menu was not as comprehensive as previous stays at Premier Inns. I know from other visits to Whitbread establishments, not only Premier Inns, that since Covid it would appear that Whitbread have cut down on staff numbers. The staff here worked very hard and always had a smile on their face even though I’m sure that’s not how they felt. Thank you all.||Hotel is well placed for the town and quayside and an easy walk from the station.

2 night stay. Staff were pleasant. It's situated on a noisy road, so window kept shut at night. Air con not adequate to cool the room so a bit uncomfortable to sleep. Cleanliness was good. Old fashioned shower over bath with just overhead attachment. Good location for waterfront and centre with nice restaurants and bars and Briarbank Brewing Co nearby. Did not eat at the hotel. Would not return.

Just the usual quality that I expect from Premier Inn. Clean, great night's sleep. Fully stocked room.||Good location - just cross the road and the harbour is right there, pubs and shops in close proximity. The centre of Ipswich is a short walk away as well - plenty going on.||It's got it's own underground car park, with an overflow car park above ground.||The one problem I had with getting into the car park under the hotel is that it's not very well signposted. There's a one way system that takes you right past the front of the hotel, however if you've seen the front door - you're too late, you've missed the entrance and have to drive around again. ||Apart from that, no issues. Would use it again.

The premier inn quayside Ipswich is ideally placed. The rooms are comfortable & and quite ideal for a short break. If you fancy a stroll around the quayside, there's plenty of eateries & watering holes, too. The quayside also provides photographic opportunities should the weather & time allow.
