Hotel it’s self absolutely lovely. Spacious. Very comfy beds.

However look elsewhere for breakfast options. Was originally coming down for 9.30am to feed the kids before our 3 hour journey home. The manager asked if we could return at 10:15 as she was short staffed and busy. Returned at 10:15. No breakfast buffet except continental which was empty. Despite this we still ate here, breakfast is plated cooked to order. Manager came and took our order asking how much of each item we would like per breakfast. Both of my children gave autism and only eat certain foods, we ordered at 10:30 food came at 11am, nothing on the plates as we ordered. Meaning both of my children refused their foods as there was other foods touching them which they didn’t like.

I can’t fault the manager herself, she was kind and whilst we were waiting she had a very verbally abusive customer shouting at her in the restaurant which she didn’t deserve at all.

My personal opinion is the company need to employ correct staff to do the food and running of the food service they offer instead of having the HOTEL manager and HOUSEKEEPING staff trying to work multiple jobs.

Very scenic location and quiet calm and relaxed too, on checkout in staff were helpful and very friendly and welcoming. Amazing rooms super comfortable bed, TV and good sized bathroom modern rooms. A good selection of cocktails and main meals plus desserts all are perfect. Good breakfast in the morning always a decent selection to choose from for cooked and continental breakfast. Anyone coming to visit Leicester I would highly recommend stopping in this premier inn. Not far from Leicester city centre either only about 15/20 mins bus ride away.

Stayed here with my partner. Comfortable beds and welcoming environment! The pub connected was lovely and delicious! Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. |Reception was tidy and everything was clean. Big spacious car park with outdoor seating.

Room was not very clean, there was a damaged lamp in the room. The Media inputs on the TV in the room did not work. On the sofa looked like there was mud on it from someone shoe who was in there before. Food in the pub was out of stock. Waiting a hour for food. Staff did there best but was short staff.

What a hotel this is, I don’t know what premier Inn are playing at the moment especially with this hotel booked in into my room staff on reception lovely cannot fault the staff room just average just like any other Premier Inn room booked a table in the restaurant next door for 6 pm. Arrived in the restaurant dead on six had to wait over an hour for my main meal, I had the mixed grill. They asked that how I wanted my steak. I said rare it came out like a bit of old shoe leather
chips cold eggs oh my God I don’t know what they do with the eggs they can’t even cook an egg.,
So complained about it had to wait a yet again
And again, steak bad chips, cold eggs ,I couldn’t eat it by this time and left. Went for breakfast, hardly anyone in the room and they cook the breakfast while you wait So ordered the full English with poached eggs when the waiter brought it over The eggs fell off the plate and landed on the table and all he said was sorry so I had to pick them off the table put back onto my plate,
Hashbrowns hot, sausages, undercooked baked beans was like they’ve been opened from the tin and poured on my plate mushrooms cold and I mean very cold once again could not eat it so bad . I complained to the waiter and all he said was okay nothing else I would never ever recommend or go back to that hotel again and eating in their restaurant. I would give it zero but I can’t.

We stayed at this hotel for almost a month due to our own home flooding. The staff were amazing. They were kind, sympathetic to our situation, helpful but still kept their professional learning in place. We were so sorry to leave there and will recommend this hotel and team to anyone. Was a very basic hotel room but not bad for the price, was very disappointed about the lack of vegan options for breakfast when I went there previously they had loads this time there was no vegan sausages, or vegan bacon so didn’t feel worth paying £10.99 for some hash browns and afew things from the continental aswell had no vegan butter. So if you’re vegan and visiting Leicester forest east I’d suggest going next door to this breakfast sandwich shop as they do a lovely vegan sausage sandwich for like £2.50. Staff at the hotel were lovely.

Met with Remembrance weekend friends so only ate here. No public allowed in! Guests only and the place was like a ghost town.Literally no ambience whatsoever. KIM AND PARIS ( Bar and Waiter) were exceptionally helpful and friendly and helped to make our visit a little more enjoyable than the basic deserted cow boy town that this place has become! What is going on|I had gammon, which was nice, chips were excellent, very limited menu so my husband had linguine? garlic bread and chips, again cooked nicely as the Chef had nothing else to do so it should have been. |Think it'll be closed very soon, Good Luck to the poor staff being laid off...😊👏👏
