It has a great location and fabulous service. I didn't meet a staff member who wasn't helpful and friendly—a lovely and clean room. The only reason for not giving it five stars was because I didn’t enjoy dinner, although the pudding was tasty. And I felt the room was a tad pricy for the facilities, but that was presumably because I booked the same day. I think, If you book in advance, you can get a great deal. Breakfast was terrific, though. The chef and service were fabulous. I would come to the establishment just for breakfast alone. It rivals any other breakfast in Lichfield.

I’m so happy I came back for Christmas! Walking into the hotel was amazing! The tree was beautiful and all the staff had there our tree decorations with their name on it which I thought was a lovely touch! Familiar faces still smiling which made me at home. Room spotless as always and breakfast again by Faye was delicious! See you soon!

Friendly, professional receptionist. Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were clean and well presented, the only shortfall was one set of towels but this was speedily and cheerfully remedied! Location is great as this site is only a short walk from the multi-storey car park and a slightly longer walk to the town centre. The only slight gripe was that the cooked breakfast bar could not be replenished fast enough no matter how hard the chef tried! A staff shortage issue I suspect!

Stayed here a few times a few years ago and always found the place OK ....

So i was happy to go back and stay again.
Myself and my husband and other friends stayed last night and I can honestly say from the second we walked through the door, which is self check in which alone we don't always find easy.
A young lady appeared and checked us in . Very helpful and friendly.
Our room was lovely and clean and had everything in it that we needed.
The main reason I'm writing this review is mainly about the staff. When we came down for breakfast this morning. Someone was there from the start to welcome us with a smile. Talked us through what to do and where to go . Other members of staff offered to help. The chef was so pleasant and friendly. Food was so tasty and plenty of it.
People are always ready to write and complain.
I just wanted to say THANKYOU to all the staff at this very busy time of year, you all made my very stressful weekend worth the stay . What a great team .

This is our third time visiting this hotel. Sadly, each time there is a little decline. It is still a quiet room and comfortable bed but no glasses in the room this time and only one bath towel and hand towel but more provided without problem. Also, the room is not serviced unless requested. Just small changes but each takes a little something away. Breakfast was good. We had an evening meal which was okay but nothing special. Staff are still lovely though and location is great.

Great one night stay here. Lovely central hotel with everything you’d expect from a Premier Inn. The rooms were clean and well insulated from any outside noise. The staff were friendly and cheerful and our welcome from Clare on reception was a lovely start to our stay. Car parking was very close by and inexpensive. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Only one large towel left for the last three visits for the two of us, minimal tea/coffee left and constantly topping up, no glassware left for water anymore, taps sprinkle now. One of the key cards didn't work on my evening return when on my own and had to wait for several minutes for staff to appear. Poor value for money on continental breakfasts. Staff always cheery and helpful on the plus side. If it wasn't the location I would choose somewhere else.

Staff were friendly and helpful and parking was convenient at the nearby Friary Multistorey car park. Unfortunately we didn't notice that the heating in the room had been left at 28°C and when we got back at 11pm the room was boiling hot. Despite turning the control down to minimum the fan only appears to work if heating the room, since the windows are sealed the room was uncomfortably warm all night, right until we left at 10.30am. Breakfast had a good range of items, however when we arrived in the restaurant at 9.30am (Sunday breakfast till 11am) there was no bacon nor fried eggs. Despite asking they took around 30 minutes to come out.
Premier Inn, please ask your cleaning staff to leave the room thermostats at a medium or low temperature (your system obviously allows heating but no cooling down of the room). Also your breakfast chef could keep a closer eye on what extra items need cooking before they run out.
