Stayed here for one night for a wedding and booked last minute. Front of house staff where lovely and inviting even though it was midnight when we checked in. Room has everything we needed and was cleaned to a high standard. Staff even left chocolate bars with a note hoping we enjoyed our stay. Lovely visit!

I stayed here for one night in a family room with my kids. Check in was fast and our room was upstairs. The place was smelling fresh and was clean. This premier inn is an old one. But we only paid around £50 so I was fine with that. The tv was absolutely tiny & the remote didn’t work. The bathroom was ok, again just old. When We arrived we found a packet of shortbread and two party bags with treats for the kids. Which was lovely and my kids were very happy. The entrance to this place is just before the exit on the A38, it is easy to miss. Plenty of parking and there was no noise from the busy A38. I’d definitely stay here again if the price was reasonable.

Not your usual Premier Inn.
So there is no breakfast or place to eat next door as you would usually expect from a Premier Inn.
It is quite dated, actually have a room key, not a card! And you can tell it's not been updated for a while.
But all of that really doesn't matter. The location for us was perfect. Beds are usual Premier Inn extremely comfortable standard and rooms are spotless.
The thing that really makes this place are the staff, they are all so lovely, friendly, helpful and happy. They provide items for breakfast such as cereals and porridge, as well as things like pot noodle on reception, which they sort out themselves and just ask for a Charity donation.
Chloe, Kelly, Jean and the rest of the team, thank you so much - and I hope our rooms weren't too muddy when we left.

The reason I gave this a 5 was because the receptionist who was on duty could not do enough to be helpful. She smiled all the time and was so nice. Also we were visiting the National Memorial Arboretum, and the hotel is very close by.||It’s a shame the hotel needs a very good update, it’s very dowdy.||Cleanliness was not an issue, our room and bathroom were very clean, but oh how the fan in the bathroom was noisy!! Awful.

Great location for a friends wedding nearby. After getting home I realised I had forgot my prescription glasses and as we live over 200miles away, I couldn’t quickly pop back and get them. Nicola and the team went above and beyond to get them back to me safe and sound. I can’t thank them enough.

Great stay for the RTTW in October. |Shame there are no dining or drinking facilities and taxis to town are the only option. There is a petrol station just further up the road but no bars or restaurants until Lichfield town |Claire and Chloe had a great welcome to the room and good cleanliness.

Thankyou Clare, Kelly & Jean for our little chocolate treat! Very welcomed with a hot cuppa as we were getting ourselves ready for a boozy evening out in Lichfield.|Very clean hotel and friendly staff. Would highly recommend. See you again x

Hotel tired and in need of maintenance as well as a deep clean as shown in the pictures attached. Location is in the middle of nowhere with pub restaurant that used to be next door closed down (as shown in pictures). However, it is only a short distance to shops. Our toilet had a leak and, as the hotel was 100% full, we could not move until the next day. The walls are very thin and the noise, even from talking, was too loud. On a positive, the hotel is close to the Arboretum and the hotel staff are helpful.
