I stayed here two nights ago and loved it. It is super close to Gatwick North Terminal and is walking distance! It’s right next to the South Terminal shuttle and is located perfectly. It was very busy when we arrived at 9pm but there’s plenty of self check-in stations where you get your room keys etc and it’s simple to use. There’s plenty of elevators to take you to your floor and they move swiftly up and down. We paid for breakfast and got to it at 6am and it was quiet. Plenty of variety, delicious sausages and savory items, as well as a broad range of pastries and cereals. If you book early enough it’s much cheaper.

The beds were comfy and warm. The bathrooms were modern and great. I was very happy with my stay and I know where I’ll be the next time I fly into Gatwick.

Highly busy hotel at the north terminal of Gatwick airport. Even with a large bank of terminals for self check-in there were plenty of staff available to assist. My room was a typical, clean, modern premier inn style. Well equipped and included an iron and board. Walk in shower available in the bathroom which was very clean.
The restaurant is the busiest I have experienced in any premier inn across the country and does require booking a table but the staff are very pleasant and helpful. The menu is good value, particularly around an airport, and I enjoyed a perfectly reasonable pie and chips, thank you Sam.
All in all a highly recommended hotel and I will happily book again.

Great place to stay that's only a few minutes walk away from the airport departures. We had booked the meal deal package and it was truly a really nice meal with a choice of drinks included, and the staff members were lovely friendly people too. The meal deal package is the way to go as you get breakfast included as well and the evening main meal is 2 courses and a drink and this alone comes to more than the £29 which is the cost for the meal deal package. Breakfast is a buffet with lots of choice and starts from 4am. We parked at Gatwick long stay and as we were travelling with TUI we dropped our luggage off the evening before.

After a long days travel to get to Gatwick, to be fresh and rested for our flight the following day, we arrived at the Premier Inn, which was a perfect location, then had trouble with the self service check in kiosk. Asked several times for assistance and was told by a rude member of staff I was doing it wrong! So I told him not be so rude, I wasn't familiar with the check in procedure and it wasn't clear as how to input my details to check in, perhaps he could help me with it!
After getting our door key cards we waited for ever to get the lift, and gave up, using the staircase instead to room 316, lugging our suitcases with us.
The room on first impressions, was very impressive, very clean, with a bath and shower, shampoos and shower gels. Choice of hot drinks and kettle. There wasn't much of a view, but we weren't bothered as it was just a stop over for the night.
Seemed the restaurant on site was booked up, so had to go elsewhere, for dinner.
Unfortunately the perfect sleep was not to be. The room was hot and stuffy, couldn't control the temp. and the windows can't be opened.
The mattress was hot and the pillows were rock hard. We hardly slept at all, not what we wanted when we had a long day ahead of us! On check out there was only one member of staff, who we gave the door card and he quickly disappeared before we could make any comment to him about our stay.
We will stay elsewhere next time we travel from Gatwick.
Always recommend Ibis, they are absolutely brilliant. Premier Inn, your staff need to go on Customer Service courses and you need to sort out you rooms

I had an incredibly stressful night with my flights and airline, and was feeling completely overwhelmed as I traveled alone with two large pieces of luggage. When I saw that all the nearby hotels were booked out, I was at a loss for what to do.
Stanley at reception noticed me, offered me immediate help and was so kind and accommodating. His colleague Elysia who helped me check in was alike welcoming and kind. Amazing duo who truly went above and beyond to ensure I had a place to stay when I needed it most.
Incredibly grateful for their professionalism and kindness tonight. I could not have asked for better service in such a stressful time.
Will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a welcoming and caring place to stay.

The bed at the Premier Inn is comfortable. You have the option of early check in. The location to North and South terminals is excellent. The staff are friendly, the food at the restaurant is amazing. I enjoyed a good breakfast. It's my go to if I am travelling. The only down side is the breakfast menu didn't have everything available.

Pros: The room was great; quiet, clean, comfortable beds, great shower, and the check in and check out process was quick and easy. Booked as part of a combined parking and hotel deal, so very cheap really.

Cons: Bar and restaurant areas massively overcrowded, and it seemed not enough available staff to cope. Hideous queues to get an evening meal, and the same thing the following morning for breakfast, so finished up going elsewhere. Not enough staff manning the bar, so ludicrous waits to get a massively overpriced drink.

Take home message: get fed and watered prior to arrival, bring some beer and wine if you want, and just check in and go straight to you room.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Premier Inn. From the top floor, I had an amazing view of planes taking off from the runway—it was truly a great experience. The staff were lovely, very friendly, and helpful. One staff member even made me a nice hot latte and kindly allowed me to pay for it later, which I really appreciated. The hot food I had was delicious and gave me plenty of energy. I also had a relaxing time enjoying my latte on the comfortable sofa. I will definitely stay at the Premier Inn again the next time I visit Gatwick. I highly recommend it!
