Arrived at just after 3pm for check in and there was a long queue of guests leading to the front desk with two machines which I assume were meant to facilitate guest checkins and outs but were both out of order. There was one member of staff slowly going through the queue.

When I finally got to my room after checking in I noticed a few odd things, check the attached photos. Basically the room hadn’t been touched since the last guest. So I had to go back down to reception and they sorted me with another room.

Around midnight the fire alarm went off all over the hotel for a couple of minutes. It’s currently 00:20 and I felt compelled to write this review.

My room feels very tired. So much filth trodden into the carpets it feels gross to walk on in anything but my shoes. The sofa has a massive stain.

It’s hard to justify any amount of value for a hotel room when you’re rudely awakened at midnight when you’ve paid for a place to get a good nights rest. I will be seeking some sort of compensation in the morning. After I get some more sleep, hopefully.

Location is great. Right by plenty of shops, bars and eateries without the noise. Room was absolutely fine/clean and the checking in staff was friendly enough.

However, having been to multiple Premier Inns through work, I can honestly say this Premier Inn provided the worst cooked breakfast my partner and I have ever had. We came down at about 7:30am on 28th Feb. All of the cooked food was cold and dried out. Again, we've been to multiple Premier Inns and rarely have that issue. We didn't even want to finish it.

In terms of staffing during this breakfast, the waitress was lovely, polite and helpful. On the other hand, the manager/supervisor (petite lady with glasses) on shift spent most of her time eating and gossiping about other workers to the cook in front of customers. This was also in the way of where customers were to grab their cooked food options and plates. Extremely unprofessional. If you want to eat or gossip, do it back of house, not front of house. That's basic customer service and professionalism.

Besides the breakfast letdown, the hotel is in a prime location with plenty to offer.

We stayed here for New Year’s Eve as it was so convenient for the theatre. We checked in at 3pm and were swiftly handed keys to our room on the 4th floor. As always the room was spotless with plenty of space and a lovely comfortable bed. It was a bit noisy when we returned from the theatre but only to be expected due to it being New Year’s Eve. Breakfast was excellent with freshly cooked poached eggs which we requested. The staff were really friendly and a credit to the hotel.

We stayed here as we were visiting the indoor ski centre. We experienced the fab, reliable, and dependable quality of a good night's sleep. We also wanted to say a particular thank you to Fawad for excellent customer service. He looked after us at breakfast this morning. Nothing was too lunch trouble and he was so friendly and thoughtful. Huge thanks Fawad!

This is one of the best Premier Inns we've stayed in. Very convenient for the theatre. Had an issue with the heating in the room but this was resolved by us being moved to another room. Receptionist, Vanessa, was really helpful during our stay.

Fawad was so helpful at check in. Great location for theatre, shops and restaurants. Clean and convenient base. We had 4 rooms staying with family and all had clean comfortable rooms. Parking was good value if you can get a space in the allocated

We stayed here twice at the end of December for 4 nights in total. The place is located opposite the milton keynes shopping centre on one side and the ski dome on the other which is great. We booked the premier plus rooms on both stays and these rooms are always good as they offer a view of sorts and comfortable beds. Two things I did not like about this premier inn were the staff were not helpful in assisting and helping their customers like they normally are and the fact that we had to pay 7 pound a night to park our cars which is again appalling on top of the room charges. The restaurants were closed in the evenings which also was not great. The hotel is in a perfect location but if the staff are not happy then you do not get smooth premier inn experience that you normally receive.

Room was extremely hot even with the heating disabled. The windows do not open, and there is zero ventilation in the room so the air is stale and very unpleasant. ||||Given the rooms are really hot, it was unfortunate that no sheet was provided (only a duvet). I barely slept because I was just too hot. ||||The bathroom has an extractor fan but this did not work either.
