We came here for a weekend away, and was greeted by a lovely man whose name is Rej, he was warm and friendly, and made sure our room was clean and ready. He is very polite and friendly, and also helped us with recommending where to go for food and drinks and telling us the best places to go. He is honestly the best person we have ever encountered whilst staying at a premier inn. He also spoke to us about other things and will always engage in other conversations. He is a funny and friendly person and is always up for a laugh as well. We will definitely be coming back here for our next stay for sure.

Just returned from this hotel. A bit of a trek from the railway station.Friendly staff on check in. A bit tired looking inside. Our room was clean and quiet. Bathroom had no floor mat, but other than the toilet taking forever to refill for the next flush it served its purpose. Nice little heater in the room. |The breakfast was next door at the beefeater. It was a mix set up explained by the efficient lady on duty. She took our order without fuss or judgement and probably waited 10 minutes for delivery to our table. I think I still prefer a buffet premier inn. But this hotel and breakfast served its purpose of visiting the theatre to see the panto. I would return if in the area.

When I arrived yesterday the service was not up to standard. Today, I was served by Rej and as always the service was great. The service came back above and beyond standard which makes me very happy. I always make recommendations to my work colleagues to stay at this specific Premier Inn due to people like Rej.

Just a quick shout and thank you to Rej, from reception. He was a great help when i needed to stay a few additional days at the hotwl. He went above and beyond making sure it was possible at very short notice. Service with a smile and lovelt attitude Thank you very much.

The one in south London, the hotel was in terrible condition. Here the room is nice and tidy, smells fresh. Nice to meet a fellow londoner at reception. Rej is lovely and easy to talk to. Always welcoming people in a friendly way. The location is very close to the shopping centre, beefeater and a large clean car park.

The hotel was lovely, quiet and had basic essentials of what you’d require a hotel to have. ||||There was the option for breakfast and dinner which we didn’t opt in for as we have specific dietary requirements which can’t be met in the restaurant. ||||There was always a staff member on reception if we felt we needed anyone to report to, which we never did. ||||Quick and easy check in/out procedure.||||The shower was amazing, a power shower.||||A couple of maintenance issues required in the room and bathroom but didn’t really have a negative impact on our stay (except the radiator squeaking when on but we didn’t use it in the night to be overall worried).

Staff member I believe called Rej at front desk was very rude towards other members of staff at the site, thought being the duty manager made him better than others. He was also extremely unhelpful with issues at check in, resulting in me having to ring another premier inn site myself to resolve the issues taking well over 40 minutes and still having the cheek to charge £10 for an early check in.

Parking is plentiful just outside the hotel and not very expensive.||Shopping wise, the Xscape is a five minute walk via the underpass, and the main shopping centre is a further 5 minutes from there via the theatre district.||Food wise, there are a few great restaurants in the Xscape. However, if you prefer not to have to walk too far at night, the steakhouse next door to the hotel (The Barn) serves decent 2-for-1 cocktails and perfectly cooked steaks. Breakfast is also provided at this pub.
