Despite it having major renovations we had a great stay. 18 mins drive from Newcastle airport. Spanking new room which was Great, seemed a lot smaller than normal but was done up to a high standard. Bathroom now don't have heated towel rail so this made it cold in there as no other form of heating. Lovely receptionist welcoming and bubbly.

I had an amazing 3 night stay with family. The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming! I happened to mention it was my son’s birthday the next day and the staff surprised us with birthday banners and Harry Potter posters and presents. My son was absolutely thrilled with his birthday surprise! I was touched by the staff kindness and special mentions to Mel, Jo, Jack and David.Thank you!
Jack gave personalised service at the restaurant with a smile! I will definitely come again!

Very welcoming staff. Room clean and we appointed although a bit small for a family of 4.||Good shower but no extraction so room became very damp.||Double bed very comfortable but the fold out bed was too hard and not at all comfortable for my daughter. ||Having said all that the overall experience and the price would lead me to stay again.

Fantastic modern rooms. I stayed every week for a few month whilst working near by. The premium rooms are the best and worth the upgrade as they come with a fridge, nespresso coffee machine and chocolates. Really comfy bed and a seating area with comfortable chairs for doing work. |Great for business trips but not much around.

A lovely hotel, very cheap so wasn't expecting anything fancy. Was met with a wonderful, warm entrance and staff who couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. Our room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The shower was fantastic and the food was also enjoyable. We are very much looking forward to returning.

The staff couldn't have been nicer. Every person we spoke to couldn't do enough. The lady on the nighttime reception gave us ice and milk from the kitchen and was so friendly. The staff work in the breakfast area were so friendly too and they even drew some little faces on my son's boiled egg.||||Only slight improvement is that the rooms are slightly smaller than most Premier Inns we've stayed in and there's a little round table that makes it difficult for the kids to get to the bathroom through the night without walking into it.

This is a really nice Premier Inn. It’s been very recently refurbished and is much nicer than your usual premier inn. Great bathroom with a walk in shower, much better than having to climb in a bath. Parking is free and secure and shops are only a five minute drive away. Nice and central between Newcastle and Sunderland

Sharon, David and Les were absolutely superb, their customer service was excellent and they were so caring.||Les the chef is brilliant and wanted to make sure your brekkie was cooked to your liking. Sharon and David, were so helpful, they made you feel so welcome, they made you feel like you were family, asking what your plans were and how your day went.||Nothing was too much trouble for anyone at this hotel.||I will return to this Premier Inn because of these 3 fabulous members of staff, they are a credit to Premier Inn and I hope my feedback on how great they are, is passed on to them
