Premier inn provide the basics well. I like staying here. The location is handy and rooms are good value. The welcome is great. There is plenty of tea and coffee and you can help yourself to more from the reception area. They provide a hair dryer and nice toiletries.
I have only given 4 for 2 reasons
1. The disabled parking, blue badge area needs fixing. The signs are not all present and the area is not marked properly. One of the signs was actually on the floor so someone without a badge has parked in the space.
2. You can ask reception to refresh your room. I did this on arrival and when I went out the next day and was told I was on the list. I also put out the sign on my room door. It wasn't done. This was a bit disappointing.
I would stay here again.

I had a really frustrating experience with this hotel, and I feel like I need to share it. I booked over the phone because I knew my check-in time would be unusual—I told them clearly that I’d be arriving between 3-6 AM on the morning of February 21st and leaving late on Thursday night. I even explained that it was a long drive (3-4 hours), so I’d be getting there in the early hours of Friday morning. The person I spoke to reassured me that my booking was set for Friday morning and that the reception desk would be informed.

Fast forward to my arrival at around 5 AM, and the receptionist had no idea I was coming. Apparently, my booking was made for the 21st after 3 PM (their usual check-in time), and to make things worse, the notes said I’d be arriving at 3 AM on Saturday morning—completely wrong. Because of this, they refused to give me a room.

I kept explaining the situation, but they just kept saying they don’t allow check-ins before 3 PM and that I couldn’t book a room at that hour. So what was I supposed to do? Sleep in my car with my 4-year-old? The whole reason I called instead of booking online was to avoid this exact problem. If I had booked online, I knew I would’ve needed to book for Thursday night to check in after 3 PM. But when I asked about that on the phone, the person reassured me that they had confirmed it and that everything was fine. Clearly, it wasn’t.

After all that, they made me wait almost two hours before I gave up and booked a room at a nearby Holiday Inn Express instead. No apology, no attempt to fix their mistake, nothing. I was in town for an important medical interview that morning, and this just added so much unnecessary stress.

Most hotels, when they mess up like this, at least try to make things right—maybe offer a room, a discount, something. But this place showed no accountability at all. Really disappointing experience.

A lovely warm welcome from staff. There was always someone on reception which was nice and they always greeted us when we came in or left. Room was clean and as expected. Most disappointing bit was breakfast due to minimal staffing in the restaurant. Plus one of the staff was miserable and not very helpful. I really felt for one member of staff that looked like she was trying to do it all single-handedly. She was rushing around so much its an accident waiting to happen or she will burn out.

Room and service were fine. Spoilt by the worst ever Premier Inn breakfast. Coffee machine broken, cooked breakfast was mostly overcooked., croissants were dry. No mixed fruit, only a bowl of 90% orange segments, only one fairly bruised banana.

Checked in late on a freezing night to find heating wasn't working. Appeared to be restricted to preset setting of 16 degrees which given the weather was far too low. Room was cold having been unoccupied all day really needed a blast of heat to warm up. Only a night porter on duty by then. Also bathroom really dingy with a panel (that didn't fit the gap) under sink propped against the gap. Room should not have been let out until that was resolved. From look of car park it seems other rooms were available. Hotel needs a refresh.

We arrived at this Premier Inn which had ample parking. We were welcomed by Mon at reception, who checked us in. She was very friendly and helpful. We also paid for the Meal deal which consisted of a 2 course meal with a drink and breakfast the following morning. This was good value for money. However, you have to order your food at the bar and this took some time due to the length of the queue. The food arrived promptly and was good. Breakfast the following morning was a self service buffet with a wide variety of food. The room was a standard Premier Inn room which was fine for us. However, it was quite warm even with the window open so I can imagine it being hot in the summer. Overall an enjoyable stay.

Perfect for what I needed it for. I called up before arriving Friday and Jo was so kind and helpful when I asked for an early check-in. I then was greeter by her on arrival and she was very bubbly, friendly and chatty which instantly made me feel rested.

The room was perfect for my needs, with great WiFi so u could work remotely. Access to the building was always easy, and there was always someone on reception.

Then this morning when leaving, it was the lovely Jo again on reception who asked about my weekend.

I will definitely be staying again when I'm next in Norfolk.

Nice place, quiet, despite the busy road and the airport. ||Will book disability next time, to avoid the stairs, the long walk and the bath. ||Excellent that brewers fayre was next door for breakfast. ||Car park area being shared road could be an issue, it's quite narrow.
