Staff are great
Location is fantastic for town

No parking on site but if you look down the road it is on there are lots of options. We use the one almost opposite as it is a shorter walk but there is no discount there.

The only downside of the rooms is the bathroom as it was quite dated and not 100% clean, not up to the usual standard of a premier inn. We stay in a lot.of them on our UK trips because the staff are always fantastic, beds are comfy and you know what you're getting

We didn't eat in the restaurant this time, because it is a 2 min walk down the hill into town, but we have done in the past and it is very good.

Some good points some areas poor. |When we arrived the usual issues at a Premier Inn the self check. Both not working so as it was a Friday a long queue to check in. We have had this at other Premier Inns they need to sort this out if they have reduced staff levels. Keys kept losing the coding and it was not that it was in a pocket near to phone or bank cards as staff tried to say. I know this can happen so kept by itself in a separate pocket. One lift was not working for the three days stay. Cleanliness is not good in shared areas carpets stained and dirty dust all over the metalwork surrounding the lift. Inside the lift lower doors and floor splattered with something that was not cleaned over the weekend. Room OK but not up to standards at other hotels I have stayed at. You can have it serviced but have to ask everyday and only one towel and drinks for one person you have to collect extra yourself.|Good points staff lovely, usual good breakfast. Located right in the centre so good access to everything. Station a 15 min walk away.

I’ve stayed at this hotel several times it’s one of my favourites to stay when I’m in Nottingham. |Great location and usually love the breakfast too. |It was disappointing to find standards had dropped this time. There was only one bath towel in the room for two people and my friends was the same in their room too. We had only 3 hangers and 3 hangers were missing with just the hooks there.|The worst thing was opening the kettle to find remnants of a browny liquid in there! I can only pray it was tea. |Breakfast I might have been unlucky in arriving as there was a queue but sausages had ran out there was one fried egg left and only dregs of bacon left. I felt like it needed another cook behind there to help. |Hopefully standards go back up for the next stay 🤞

Stayed one night when in Nottingham for Trent Bridge test match. Travelled on train, and able to leave bags before heading off to cricket. Bus stop 5 mins away for Trent Bridge. Although there was a queue when picking up bag and room key card, room was comfortable and good shower in bathroom. Only 5 mins to castle area with excellent pubs & restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Good value for a hotel in Nottingham. Rooms spacious, clean and comfortable. Bathroom clean and the shower was good. Only stayed for one night and didn’t eat at the hotel but looked good. Easy walk to the Concert Hall and all the restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay again when visiting Nottingham.

Room 414. Tired, shabby and gloomy. Checked in the room and pubic hair stuck on the wall next to the toilet...nice! All the coat hanger were sticky - I had to was them before hanging clothes on them. Hotel reception, check-in technology not working, the lifts are in absolute state, like a building site and roasting hot, one of them out of service. There are nice premier inns for sure but this by far the worst one I've stayed in.

The bedroom was musty and needed a deep clean. The stairs from the 3rd floor were dirty, with spots of black matter and they needed a serious clean also. The inside of the door of the only lift working needed cleaning. From the lift could be seen accumulated litter on the half- landings. We were there 3 nights and nothing was done. On a positive note the location is excellent for city centre. It was a pity that this Premier Inn was not up to the usual standard I have experienced in other hotels of the chain.

Terrible! Room stank of cigarettes and when we mentioned it at reception the response the staff had was “there’s no way for us to know”
So you don’t clean rooms? The rooms are outdated, mouldy and hot. You cannot leave the window open if your room gives onto the parking lot as there is a constant loud humming !! Worst premiere inn I’ve ever stayed in and very expensive !
