Great hotel for an overnight stay. Welcoming reception staff. Room clean, tidy and comfortable. Great shower: warm and good water pressure. Beefeater next door had tasty dinner and breakfast. On bus route to Gatwick airport so handy for connecting to flight. Many thanks ☺️

It’s an easy and short walk from the local train station, so despite being in a quiet area it’s also convenient. Checking in was an absolutely delight, with one of the friendliest members of staff I’ve encountered in a hotel and he immediately made me feel very welcome. My room was on the ground floor overlooking a disused garden area which helped keep the room quiet and give a silent night’s sleep.

Although a typical Premier Inn room in design it did feel a little dated - the sofa bed was getting rather stained, there was mould on the reverse side of the curtain and most of the fixtures in the bathroom were showing signs of rust. The bed itself though was clean and comfortable and all the facilities worked well.

I’d certainly consider staying here again if the price is right, and given the close proximity to the train station it makes for a decent but lesser known option for an airport stopover.

I was concerned that this was an older Premier Inn, but it was really nice and well priced. It really was only 15 minutes from Gatwick. The rooms were comfortable and it seems the staff take pride in their establishment.

The adjoining pub was OK, but the food was mass produced and an awful lot was out of stock when we visited. It scores well for convenience, but I am sure you will get a better meal locally.

We have used this hotel several times without issue. We stayed for two nights on this occasion as our daughter was getting married locally. It’s always fine for our needs and we’ve never had an issue with anything.||On this trip, we stayed in a room on the ground floor at the rear. The smell of mould was pretty bad and everything in the room like towels and bedding felt damp to the touch. Not a major issue for us but other travellers will undoubtedly complain.||That said, the food for breakfast and evening meal was fine and the staff are always decent.

Definitely NOT worth the price they’re charging. Horrific smell throughout the hallway. It doesn’t seem like they clean properly. Bathrooms are not up to standards to the point I had to avoid showering because it was dirty and rusty. The room was very cold. Staff just walk into rooms without warning you. One of my worst overnight experiences at Premier Inn. The only part I enjoyed was the area.

I stay in quite a few Premier Inn hotels and you can never go wrong. Stayed here before and had a room in the main hotel, this time I was in the annex.
The room felt the same as others. Nice and warm, comfy bed and good selection on the TV.
The WiFi was a bit slow in the annex. As it not great deal of connectivity.

Hotel was date and dirty inside and out. Reception was untidy and the receptionist was wearing a backward hat and shirt hanging out. No customer service and a bit of a smell in the area.||As you walked up the stairs to the room there was old dusty smells, carpets heavily stained and skirting boards not clean. Room was OK basic but ok cost £140 which was very expensive compared to others in the area of a better standard. Food at night was limited and mixed Grill was poor quality.||Breakfast not to bad but defo needed a revamp in restaurant and hotel compared to other Premier Inns I've stayed in.

The room heating had failed and there was a small ineffective oil radiator in the room when we checked in. We then saw that the bathroom floor had not been properly cleaned and there were urine stains on the floor.||Reception when pushed did change our room to one with working heating that had been properly cleaned, however the corridors were not properly cleaned either.||This hotel has pushed the budget experience too far and is not maintaining or cleaning properly. To have rooms with the heating not working in December is putting profit before customer experience.||This hotel needs a refurbishment and a full deep clean, with staff that have time to do their jobs thoroughly
