The hotels car park is good, staff and check in good too but the room l was given on the 2nd floor was woeful. It had a dreadful stench which lingered through the corridor. It had an overpowering stale smell. I decided to go back to reception and ask for another room. The room was also dark and dated...more like a hostel than a hotel - truly vile, but it was clean. The receptionist kindly offered another room on the same floor. I thought l cant go back to the stench which lingered around the second floor so asked if l could have a room in the block opposite the reception...across the car park. The lady sorted a room in the other block. It was like going to a different hotel. The room was modern, quiet, super clean and twice the size...very cosy and comforting. So slept well in the end and enjoyed my stay. Pity about the first room and a pity about the evening meal in the Beefeater. Poorly cooked, tasted cheap and nasty throughout. Must remember never to book a Premier Inn where a Beefeater is next to it ...never had anything worth eating - except breakfast. Staff again very good though.

I try & use the liberty bell premier inn when I can as it has car parking on site. ||My husband arrived 1st, the receptionist booked him in for the 2 nights (i booked individual days) and said the keys/cards would work for both days. (Which it did). Nice, polite staff, room was ok, on ground floor, the window sounded like it was permanently open,(room 3) but it wasnt, so could hear anyone who was walking past fully in conversation. The bed was comfy, but cosy, quite sml for us (poss double). Bathroom was clean. Stupid single sheet dispenser toilet paper that you cant always get out of the dispenser. No decaf coffee, good glass mugs. The room was chilly, thank god the thermometer worked, it didnt last time. We booked breakfast on the morning as wasn't sure we'd be awake! The only thing wrong with the breakfast area was the other people allowing their children and themselves to cough & sneeze all over the foods, wasnt nice. But as always good crossants 👍. Will be back in January x

Thank you so much for Hasna who made my stay absolutely brilliant. She’s the highlight of our stay, we’ll absolutely come back. The other receptionists are really friendly as well. The beefeater next door was really nice to have a meal with friends.

Spent one night at Premier Inn Romford Central for a business trip. Had a meeting in the morning so went to bed around 11.30. I woke up at 1am and lay thinking why I'd woken up. Tried to back to sleep, just about to fall asleep and I heard a loud click sound which came from the heating sytem in the room. I thought I'd let reception know so phoned them. Having got no reply, I deperately tried to ignore the periodic click and get back to sleep hoping I'd be asleep again very soon. I eventually fell asleep 3 hours later. ||Next morning I thought I'd mention it at the desk, but the receptionist was already heading away from the desk and I was running late so thought forget it I'll email Premier Inn, with the expectation they'd check the heating system in the room and see my complaint was genuine.||But after emailing them they said their policy is only to consider complaints brought to their attention at the time, so they would not be even investigating the complaint. In other words having got no reply on the phone, I should have trudged off downstairs to complain in person and hung around waiting for the receptionist to appear. While doing that may well have satisfied Premier Inn, I know for sure it would have disrupted my sleep pattern and it would have kept me up the whole of the night. ||A very shoddy experience, which means it'll be the last time I'll staying at Premier Inn.

Very disappointed with the restaurant staff. Poorly trained and lacking in common sense. Rude and abrupt to me. A staff member wasn’t trained sufficiently and give me some wrong information. When the manger approached me she was rude disrespectful. Her staff member had made a mistake but for some reason she thought it was my fault although I’d be given the information off another staff member who then proceeded to blatantly lie in front of my face. I’m a business account holder at premier inn and we use the hotels frequently. I’ve made a formal complaint. Abbey the so called manager who would rather try blame the customer instead of dealing with the situation differently. Her staff member have been incorrectly trained and apparently it’s my fault. Cancelled my reservation and made a formal complaint. I’d asked for a tab before I sat for my meal deal which was already paid for!! And was granted off on lad behind the bar. But apparently they aren’t allowed to give tabs even thought I was staying in the hotel that evening and my table was booked for 10mins time. Because the managers poorly trained staff gave me a tab she rudely insisted I pay for the one pint of Guinness I’d just taken instead of allowing me to pay after my meal. The lad behind with the the bar then tried to say I’d made him give me a tab!! Blatant lies to cover his back. Typical ! Abbey clearly thought I should know the rules better then her own staff. Very poor customer skills. So up at 3am this morning traveled from Manchester and now I’m
I’m going to bed with no food in me because I couldn’t pay for pint after my meal!! Jokers!!! On a positive note. The girl behind reception was absolutely amazing and she clearly had been trained how to deal with paying customers and issues that may arise. She kindly refunded me my meal deal I’d pre-paid for because I refused to eat in there after being treated that way. I asked for a tab and was given one but because the staff don’t have a clue it as my fault clearly. What’s that saying? Oh yeah the customer is always right!!!

Thank you for the lovely stay provided! The room was clean, the team was lovely especially Hasna, absolutely brilliant stay thank you for assisting me all the way. The other receptionists were as well really kind with me. Housekeepers are doing an amazing job.

Booked to stay over night after attending a wedding. The booking in was easy, iron and ironing board were provided for us, room was spacious for a twin and quiet, it did get a bit hot but a floor fan was provided.

The sleep was pretty decent and the way little to no noise other than the people on the room beside us.

We would definitely stay here again when needed.
