This was a good location, not that far from the M4, perhaps 10-15 mins. The receptionist was very pleasant and my room was on the ground floor. The room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and the bedding was of a nice quality. I did hear some noise from upstairs, but I think it was the person, and they would have been noisy no matter where they were. ||Breakfast was an unusual arrangement, where we had to go next door. My only criticism was the early finishing time of 9am. That's too early. The food, however, was very good, lots of choice, and the hot items were brought to the table. The staff were helpful, and the space was very quaint with a rustic cottage feel about it. ||I was a bit disappointed not to have a bedside socket for a phone or laptop/tablet.

Marie on reception was very nice ,polite and friendly . The rooms were clean and tidy as you'd expect from a premier inn . The place is however quite dated felt a bit like the 1970s cross roads motel . Half expected to see miss dianne and Benny any minute. The food in the pub next door was very good .

Easy check in at 3.30pm on a ground floor so i could store bike, receptionist friendly and helpful. Good nights sleep and late checkout was really helpful.||Plenty of parking and pub next door. Nice bed, wifi, tea/coffee and a nice shower.||Located just off main road, but no road noise

I have stayed at many Premier Inns and I have to say the rooms in this one urgently need a refurb. The service from the staff was excellent and the hotel was in a quiet location meaning that you were able to get a good nights sleep. There is also a large free car park which is good. We stayed here on route to the Cotswolds so the location was good for us and it represented value for money. However investment is needed to bring it up to the expected Premier Inn standard. I wish I had read the reviews before booking then I would have know what to expect.

I went with my 3 daughters and my friend who also had two daughters. |We were only really using this hotel for somewhere to sleep and have breakfast. ||The check in was ok enough, girl behind the desk gave us the information we needed. |Went down to room, which was ok, bathroom didn’t smell too great and there was a panel that had been removed but not put back. ||Didn’t eat at hotel for dinner so can’t comment. ||We were told that breakfast was 07am to 10am on a Monday by the receptionist, I double checked with her she confirmed that yes this was the time. |So we all went down for breakfast at just before 09am and were greeted by a very rude woman for breakfast. |No good morning asked for room number, was told that we couldn’t all sit together as there were not enough tables. Even though the place was half empty. ||We sat down and were expecting that there was a large choice for Continental breakfast and for the cooked breakfast as this was how it was advertised when I booked. Also as there was a breakfast menu left in the room advertising how lovely the breakfast was. ||There was a very small poor choice of breakfast cereals, hardly any pastries, 1 pancake that looked like someone had had a bite and put it back. |I was asked rudely by the lady serving what did I want for breakfast. Ordered the breakfast, when it came the egg tasted funny and the sausage wasn’t cooked properly. |I asked the lady for more pastries please which she replied breakfast finished at 09am. |So obviously the lady on reception has told us wrong.|Paid for breakfast which I left feeling hungry as did my daughters. |Very very poor breakfast very disappointing. Would never stay in another premier inn again. My first and last stay with a premier inn.

Usual premier inn. staff friendly. Rooms good usual standard. Breakfast is grim - the sausage is just horrid cheapness so I left it. Fried eggs were mostly raw. I noticed the next table had the same reaction. Coffee comes from a thermos flask. Some toast and I was on my way.

On arrival I found IVY growing inside the room, reporting to reception I was told "Sorry we have no maintenance man". I booked for 6 nights, after the 2nd night I asked for my room to be cleaned, then, after the 3rd night again I asked for my room to be cleaned, but nothing. The wash hand basin in the bathroom was cracked, the skirting near the bath was hanging off and the soap dispenser over the bath was missing. No local directory or anything else about the local area was available. I did not stay the 6 nights I book. This was the first and last time a stay at Premier Inns
