The bed was so comfortable. Staff were brilliant. Hotel was clean and well situated for ease of access to motorway and therefore most places of interest. The pub/restaurant next door was good. Not having to travel far to find a hot meal was so beneficial after a long day travelling. I have chosen to stay here many times because the experience is so good.

What made this stay particularly pleasant was the warm welcome provided by Jane on reception. As well as being a friendly face on my initial arrival, she took a genuine interest in all as customers and was really keen to ensure that I had a really pleasant stay. I also observed this with many other customers during my weeks visit, so am pleased to say that this was her natural manner.

All other facilities were seen to be to the usual PI standards with great bed and clean comfortable rooms.

Stopped for a week while working nearby. Used the Premier inn as pretty standard across the Country. Very good location for nearby eateries while away from home. Walking distance to small retail park. Staff were excellent. Rooms a bit dated. No air con. Front rooms face the sun all day. Rear OK. Beds a bit tired. Premier Inns pillows are rock hard. Clearly looking to sell you their luxury pack. Brewers Fayre attached was excellent. Good food for good prices. Friendly staff.

I’ve had the pleasure of staying at the Premier Inn in Wakefield for the last 15 months while working in the area, and I can honestly say it has been an exceptional experience. What truly sets this hotel apart is the outstanding customer service, and in particular, Jane.

From the very first day I checked in, Jane has consistently gone above and beyond to make my stays as comfortable and welcoming as possible. Whether it's greeting me with a warm smile, offering thoughtful suggestions for local dining or activities, or simply ensuring I have everything I need, she has made me feel like a valued guest throughout my long-term stay. Her attention to detail and genuine care for the guests is evident in everything she does.

The hotel itself is always clean, well-maintained, and offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. But it’s the friendly, personal service from Jane that has made this place feel like a home away from home.

I can't recommend this Premier Inn highly enough, especially if you have the pleasure of being greeted by Jane. Her exceptional customer care truly makes all the difference. Thank you, Jane, for making each stay so enjoyable!

Very nice and comfortable. Clean and tidy. Comfy bed and pillows. The kids enjoyed the tombola on display and even won some gifts. Staff were very polite and friendly. Only let down was food in the brewers fayre next door. Very basic, needs more variety, pasta, mac and cheese, mozzarella bites, garlic bread.

Stayed here last night. Staff very friendly, pleasant & helpful.|Room big bright & airy, windows that open & standard fan in room too. Beds very comfortable, could do with a softer pillow though.|Close to amenities, & pub next door that has decent food. We stay here regularly when visiting family and never had any complaints.

Very friendly and comfortable, clean and tidy. The room had a comfy bed and pillows. The staff was super friendly and helpful (Jane and Teresa). The separate pub opposite was also very comfortable, with tasty food. |It's always my first choice every time I am in Wakefield.

We stayed here for two nights. The staff were friendly and the room was clean and quiet. Everything that you expect from a premier inn. Good value for money, clean and we slept well. It was central to Wakefield and Pontefract. There is a Ballantine health club on the door step along with Iceland food warehouse, Aldi, Greggs, a butchers just across the road.
