The beds were comfy, the staff were friendly and that's the good stuff done. Pubic hair in the hair, duvet and towels had blue stains, the room did not look or feel clean, it is December and the room was so hot it made it hard to sleep. £40 would have been a good price for this room not £78.

The staff were wonderful and sorted out all our various requests, they could not have been more helpful. Room was nice and warm and beds were so comfortable, even the second bed. ||||We stayed during the last autumn storm but did not even notice it! ||||The website says there’s no restaurant at the moment - this is not entirely correct. They’ve arranged for breakfast at a restaurant opposite - at least for the weekends. ||||Overall a lovely stay and plan to come again

I complained to reception at 6.30am on 2nd February about the noise that had been coming from the radiator all night, receptionist took my room number , listened to my recording of said noise and was startled to hear it , she said she would log it on the system and told me to complain regarding the sleep guarantee, I was a lone traveller and would not have felt safe going downstairs to report it so late at night , I went downstairs at 6.30 on the 2nd. I have just spoke to customer services who stated no log had been posted on the system and that because I didn’t use my mobile to ring reception or go downstairs there was nothing they could do .
I was on the top floor and no way would I walk down the stairs , the noise started at approximately 11.30 pm from their radiator, apparently they could have got maintenance to fix it or move me rooms , so no refund or apology and didn’t even seem to grasp that as a lone female guest I would have felt unsafe going out of my room on my own so late at night , have you tried to ring premier to get to speak to the hotel well I have on other previous occasion's when trying to book a hotel so didn’t think to ring them , BUT apparently that’s why I should have done to get a full or part refund under their guarantee of a good nights sleep , receptionist polite enough but hasn’t left notes to state how early I went down or how bad the noise was was, So I have paid £68 for the privilege of listening to a noisy radiator all night .
Absolutely disgusting, I book rooms for business on behalf of the company I work for and will not be doing so again . It would be Travelodge for future bookings.

Alison is always friendly, helpful and always has a smile on her face. Always very welcoming. Been staying here for two years and I have always received the same treatment. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, you always now what you get. Shame about the restaurant closing, but the hotel is still worth it

The most friendly, clean and comfy hotel. Would stay here over and over and over again. Never had such a friendly service in a hotel. I have seen some comments about it being old, but it is clean, friendly, comfortable and quiet. Just lovely. I'll be back again.

I Often travel for work in the area and have tried several different hotels to stay, but this one is my new default from now on! Warm and friendly welcome, clean and fresh rooms. What more can you ask for after a long day of travel and meetings. Thanks again to the AM very lovely lady!

Don't bother, rooms are the most outdated I've stayed in for many years, booked a twin room, the single bed wasnt made up either, first time I've had a physical key to open a door for years also.
I stay in premier inn nationwide, this is the oldest I've seen for a long time.

The hungry horse next door is SHUT for refurbishment, apparently there's a pub a short walk, can't be bothered tbh, pizza delivery it is. it's a pity the app doesn't make more of an effort to make this closure more noticeable, the car park is also tiny.

Canceling tomorrow's stay, will make a note to not return.

The worst Premier Inn I have stayed in. The rooms and deco are dated and definately in need of deep clean and refurbishing. The food in the restaurant next door was tasteless and again decor needs updating. The staff were more interested in talking to each other than serving and waiting on, you felt like you were an inconvenience.
