Location was just right, for getting out of York, or going into the city, either walking or one of the frequent buses. Have to say the rooms felt a little tired. Room service when asked to clean room, wasn't the best. Reception staff were lovely. There's a great pub The Dormouse about 3 minutes walk away. It has a great selection of drinks behind the bar, and good menu for lunch and evening. Customer service was brilliant too, making for a great experience.

An absolute fantastic stay, nothing is too much trouble. Free car parking.
It's a short journey into York.
The staff are so helpful and welcoming. The breakfast is truly amazing. The bed is so comfy and big. The room has everything you need. Unlimited hot drinks you can prepare yourself. 24 hr reception. Can't recommend York North Premier Inn enough!

Great location with easy access to the city centre using the local frequent ||bus service which stops right outside the hotel. Comfortable beds and clean rooms great breakfast with plenty of choice. There is a nice pub serving a great range of beers next-door. We will be back.

This hotel was truly amazing. The staff are fantastic and very helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The cooked breakfast in the morning is served quickly and lovely and hot, thanks to Lucas.||We were on a trip for my husbands 60th birthday and the staff decorated the room and left choccies and wine also... So thoughtful.||Special thanks to Olivia, Ryan, Josh, Lucas and Caitlin who made our mini break one to remember. We'll be back in June for another bucket list trip.||Thank you so much, keep up your amazing work.

Worst Premier Inn - Avoid!! Unclean!! falling apart!! Needs a deep clean and refub! The room wasn’t hoovered, there was make up residue on surfaces, hairs, dust and marks on table! The bathroom was disgusting, shower covered in hairs, hairs on the tiles, on the skirting boards, the floor hadn’t been cleaned nor the toilet - there was pee on the seat for previous guests! Spider webs from the ceiling, dirty damage curtains. The reception staff were as helpful as they could be in the situation, showed us and offered a different room but again, the new room wasn’t hovered and surfaces not wiped, the receptionist herself found a sweet wrapper on the floor by bed. The reception then gave my room and hoover and clean the surface down but it really needed a deep clean which was more than she could provide in the situation. Ended up at Tesco to buy cleaning supplies!

Location brilliant, really liked the walk into the City Centre and the nearby Bus stop proved handy as well. Dormouse Pub on site was fantastic and free parking always a good point. Rooms were very tired and dated, plus they were quite small compared to what you tend to expect at Premier Inn.

Nicely situated hotel for York, but is on a list for a refurbishment, as told to us by a manager. Not the usual Premier Inn standard of rooms that we are used to. Awful toilet/shower room. Mould in the shower, filler coming away, old shower curtain that had to keep being hooked back up, problem with the toilet flushing, hole in the wall of the shower where pipe had been taken out and not filled in, smell of sewage coming up from the basin when you turned the tap on. Very, very disappointed with the state of it. Stayed 3 nights, but unable to move rooms as was told they were all the same. Very poor response from the guest relations team at Premier Inn head office. Not a hotel where we would stay again, or recommend to people.

We have stayed in premier inns all over the country but this is definitely the worst one we have stayed in. Checked in Friday evening to a freezing cold room, even with the heater on it constantly clicked so had to be turned off. The bathroom didn’t feel clean at all, with visible rust and dust everywhere. We were only given one towel, which had a very obvious stain on it and had to be changed. The walls are paper thin and we could hear our neighbours TV, and then snoring! The good points of this hotel is free parking, good route into the centre (on bus route) and possible to walk if needed, and the pub opposite was lovely (but very cold!). Had a good stay in York but would pick a different hotel next time, the hotel needs to be updated!
