Sam cooked for my 21st birthday which was hosted at Ashridge Great Barn. The food was absolutely amazing!
Sam had planned the menu with my boyfriend based on all my favourite food and he absolutely smashed it out of the park! If you get a chance to try the Braised Beef Shin or Truffle Tagliatelle- jump at the opportunity!
Him and his dad were so lovely. Highly recommend

We hired Pretty Little Pastries to provide canapes and afternoon tea for our wedding on 28.09.24, and found the whole experience to be deeply disappointing. Despite multiple clear instructions that the menu must be completely nut-free for guests with severe allergies, food containing nuts was served. We also discovered later that our vegetarian guests were served dishes containing meat, with no vegetarian options available, leaving some without food, even though a vegetarian menu was agreed beforehand.

The staff were rude and dismissive when the bride became understandably upset, even making inappropriate comments to other guests about her. Communication throughout the process was poor, with weeks-long delays in responses, calls made while driving, and no acknowledgment of our concerns after the event.

While the food tasted good, the lack of professionalism and respect for dietary needs made this experience unacceptable

Pretty little pastries were hired as self caterers for a wedding at the venue I am a manager at (so we didn't hire them or taste their food) however the staff working the event were incredibly rude to all of my staff. Every staff member on shift that evening came to me with a complaint of the pretty little pastry staff being rude to them. They were also leaving leftover food on the floor outside even though I provided them with a bin, and as they left they took the bin with them and proceeded to dump it by the side of the road outside the front of our venue. I can only hope that they don't get asked to cater at our venue again, or if they do, they change their attitude towards bar staff massively.

Did an online order from the selection of festive flavours .. got a Christmas tree (stunning to look at and delicious .. love pistachio so would happily have an entire cake of that), a Clementine (so light and delicate), a billionaires bauble (very moreish) and a selection of Christmas chocolates (again, stunning to look at and delicious).
Would highly recommend these for anyone .. and particularly great as a treat just for yourself 😉
