Returning to this restaurant after long period of time … What a change ! We were really impressed by the friendly welcome and new design. We had a lovely lunch with my 2 children. The food, drinks and service was amazing . We were very happy and will definitely go back .

Following a leisurely stroll around the park we thought would be nice to sit and have a catch up and chat
Two teas took a considerable time to wait and understandably we would wait for the hot food

Sadly the experience wasn’t that great for the price paid. Screaming out your number to collect your teas and sitting back down again with a buzzer waiting for your food. Seems all disjointed and then while there you are listening to more calls for customers to collect their drinks. It doesn’t seem harmonious or organised. More like breakfast in the school dinner hall.

Food order £11 for the English breakfast and £7.50 for pancakes.
Although I requested a meal without egg I was unable to substitute the egg for something else.
I was told that adding something could be done but at further cost.

Anyhow food order arrived breakfast presentation looked good. but tasted very salty and was warm not cold but not piping hot as you might expect
One butter and two slices of sour dough bread hard enough to remove a filling.
Ingredients I imagine used are better than average but cheap condiments available also lowers your expectations of the meal
Pancakes mentioned blueberries and strawberries not a strawberry to be seen and five blueberries
Comment back from my daughter was it was alright. That’s a not blown away alright just alright
Overall a very average but pricey breakfast made to feel very disappointed.

Wouldn’t rush back to eat will stick to a takeaway tea or coffee

I like this cafe but had a £4.50 sausage roll recently that was terrible and want to warn others! It was bad in every way a sausage roll can be. Greasy, undercooked, soggy pastry and crumbly tasteless sausage meat. Luckily my dog liked it. If you fancy a good sausage roll try priory farm plant nursery cafe instead.

My dog, Harmony and I I love coming to Priory Cafe after a nice stroll in Priory park. 2 hr free parking at Morrisons. Amazing food at this large cafe in the park, from lunch, to coffee and cake to pizza. And even hearty salads! A super nice atmosphere. Dog friendly in 1/2 of the cafe. Family friendly. Staff are efficient and friendly. And your furry friend may even score a dog treat or buy them a doggie icecream in the summer. Icecream for humans also available! Highly recommend.

Great to have lots of vegan options here. Just need to be careful as they might give you cow's milk butter with the vegan breakfast. The smoothies were wonderful, especially after a run on a warm day.

Looks amazing, such a beautiful space. Love how much effort and care has been put into making this cafe a tranquil, peaceful place to sit in. The food that we had was definitely not something served in local park cafes around - more like the restaurant type food. I would recommend a visit there just to try some of the things on the menu. Will definitely be back.
