My first visit for a few years since the change of ownership. Super impressed! Nice welcome, quick service, freshly cooked fish and the chips were tasty and crispy. Skinless fish was a bonus! Will definitely return, thank you.

Two small pieces of fish were already cooked when we arrived at the shop: We specifically said we did not want those two pieces and requested two fresh large pieces.be cooked. Despite the request they sneakily packed up the two long cooked pieces together as if they were one newly fresh cooked piece.

Batter was soggy, as were the chips.

Unremarkable at best but ignoring customer requests, just to sell two already cooked pieces is criminal. I thought fish had to be fresh cooked also?....

If you can afford a 15 minute drive either side of Crawley down, do so - there are numerous professionally run, fresh, and customer focused fish n chip shops.

Upon my visit for the first time to the Prize fighter Fish 🐟 and chips 🍟 . I found it to be delightful, well-maintained, and welcoming. The pricing was reasonable, and the staff demonstrated excellent manners and efficiency. I highly recommend a visit if you are seeking quality food.

Initial reaction was expensive but when we opened the bags the fish and portion of chips were enormous , very tasty and well worth the money, Highly recommend .From a former fish and chip shop owner.

I was extremely pleased with the exceptional and excellent services provided by Dan's Fish Shop. The haddock was fried to perfection, revealing a delightful surprise of white, chunky meat. The chips were crispy and fresh, making them a delicious accompaniment to the fish. Overall, Dan's Fish Shop offers the best fish and chips in the Crawley area, and I highly recommend their establishment.

Came back today (11th Oct 2024) and once again service and food is outstanding! Food really fresh and a nice touch to have a slice of lemon on the fish too. Definitely recommend coming here on a friday!

Been back today (12th May 2022) amd it is under new management. The new owners are very friendly and helpful and the fish and chips are still very good and the best in the area. Definitely go here for your fish and chip takeaway!

Brilliant fish-and-chips owners very lovely staff. customer service on point curry sauce which was given for free was absolutely bang on! chips cooked to perfection, will be back!
