If you're looking for something remote this is the place. Puddle duck shepherds hut comes with everything you need for your stay. Sue goes above and beyond and keeps you updated on when she will be off-site. We only saw kev from a distance tending to the pregnant sheep in the field in front. The shower and hot tub were amazing fluffy towels and toweling gowns provided. The bedding on the fold down bed was egyptian cotton and felt so luxurious. For a little extra you can buy home produced sausages, eggs, bacon, burgers and bread. Sue even popped to the shop on her way back from swimming with some butter. Even though we came out of season if your willing to travel there is plenty to do. Thank you Sue and Kev for your hospitality. Good luck with the lambing season and the season ahead.

Lovely owners! Very welcoming and down to earth. Set out beautifully, The bathroom was amazing for the location! Any issues were dealt with immediately and compassionately! Really enjoyed our time away even with the poor weather.
They have thought of everything in regards of things to do, from leaving board games to a binder with all the local restaurants and attractions.
Would genuinely recommend this if you're looking for a few days in nature with a hottub😊

If you and your partner are looking for a lovely quiet getaway in the middle of the countryside this place is perfect!
The shepherds hut is super cute, quiet, well laid out and has everything you need including private bathroom, well equipped kitchen, hot tub, bathrobes, towels and bedding.
There is no Wi-Fi or tv but that is just the way we wanted it! There is a good phone signal. The hut has its own parking, outdoor seating area and beautiful views of the rolling hills. The bed was so comfortable and wonderful to wake up to such a lovely view each morning.
Sue the owner is lovely and friendly, she kept in touch leading up to our stay, greeted us on arrival, showed us round and explained how everything worked. We even purchased some of their own produce for our stay, which was great (home made bread, eggs, bacon and sausages).
We got a few visits from the friendly farm cat and dogs, we loved watching the lambs jumping around in the field in front of the hut.
Launceston town is just a 20mins drive away and there are lots of other places nearby too including the sea.
We had the best time and will definitely book to stay here again.
