Liked: We loved this site. Great to be able to choose where we could pitch, very hot showers which was lovely. It took us 25 mins to walk to the pub via a lovely scenic path, directly out of the campsite. We had a fire both nights of our stay - we really liked the fact that they do ‘log-runs’ between 7 and 8pm. Just the kind of getaway we wanted.

Disliked: As others have said, hot water for washing up would have been great - but you could always boil water and take it down with you!

Liked: Friendly helpful staff. Beautiful location and views. Clean showers and toilets. Very hilly but it was easy to find level pitches. Great for kite flying. Had a fantastic weekend with the family.

Disliked: The only negative point I would make is that there are not enough toilets for the size of the site.

Liked: Very spacious, no set pitches so just find somewhere and you’re good to go. Top field had amazing views of Corfe Castle - but also MUCH more windy - probably no good for tents!

Disliked: Hard to find a flat pitch. Showers, whilst clean have absolutely no chill. The are angled in a direction that is at the top of the shower curtain, so be prepared to get everything in the cubicle wet, ladies you will wash your hair whether you like it or not! It was quite extreme, trialled out multiple showers and had the same experience in each!

Liked: Very clean toilets and showers (hot water showers, yey). Great views of the valley and the castle. I loved the flexibility of the owners about the pitch space (not limited to certain meters). Very friendly staff

Disliked: Maybe lights in the toilets. One or two toilets in the opposite corner of the ones already there would be great.

Liked: I have camped here before so I knew what to expect. Spacious pitch in a large field. The toilets and showers shown on the website are very misleading, they are a private campsite nearby. The actual showers/toilets are ok but quite basic
Good value and a nice area to explore

Disliked: The shower units need attention

Liked: - Easy to access and check in
- Clean toilets and showers
- Plenty of washing up sinks
- Clothes line for drying (bring your own pegs)
- Quiet
- Good location

Disliked: - The toilet block has several very bright outward facing lights at night time.
- Understand why they are there, but could they be changed so not as light polluting at night time.
- You can hear main road from campsite during the day.

Liked: Good, clean toilets, showers and washing up facilities.
Views of the stunning Corfe Castle. Close to the Corfe Castle village with several excellent pubs and short drive to the coast at Swanage.
Helpful staff.
Log burners available for hire and logs can be bought each evening.

Liked: Convenient location, quiet, and a country walk to Corfe Castle directly from site.

Disliked: Atrocious „amenities“. If you fancy long walks to dirty and stinky showers and toilets at different locations on campsite (not close to each other), long queues for both, no light in either at dusk, and washing dishes in the open in rain and howling gales, this campsite is perfect. Otherwise, better not. Also, the alleged playground consisted of two swings. Two swings not a playground make.
