Absolutely loved our trip away. We stayed I. Squirrel lodge and it had everything we needed. They also supplied some tea and coffee and a fully equipped kitchen including a few cleaning products. The hot tub was great. It was a 10 minute drive from Alton Towers. We didn’t arrive until after reception was closed but that was no problem and we had good communication with the people at the lodge on how to get in.

Stayed here recently on a short break for Alton Towers. |This is our second trip to the park, the first being 7 or 8 years ago. |Great location for Alton Towers which is around 15 minutes away through the narrow lanes.|The lodge itself was decent, there was a fair bit of damage to the cupboard covers and door handles and stuff. The place could do with a little TLC.|The hot tub was nice, a few of the jets didn’t work but wasn’t a problem.|All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful.|One annoying thing is the WiFi was £15 for 3 days, not sure it’s a great idea to sting people with this charge when we paid nearly £900 for a 3 night stay, also, we were a family of 6 and you are only allowed to have 5 devices on it which is ridiculous! Having said that, it did work well and there is absolutely no phone signal.|All in all a good stay and would return if we visited Alton Towers again.|One other thing, nearby Cheadle is lovely with Morrison’s and ASDA right next to each other and some lovely takeaways as well!

A lovely stay here. The park is a beautiful setting, and the lodges are well spaced and privacy screens mean that you can enjoy the hot tub without being overlooked. We stayed in a Squirrel Lodge which was a great size for our family of 3 plus dog! Great, friendly welcome and clear instructions provided to find the lodge. The on-site shop is well stocked and reasonably priced. The park is approximately 15 mins drive from Alton Towers which is a huge bonus. Park is also only 10 mins from nearest town (Cheadle) which has lovely takeaways and good supermarkets. Park is very remote and rural and there is absolutely no phone signal. WiFi is extra but is reliable and fast and not unreasonable at £10 for 3 nights. Lodge was spotless and well stocked with everything you need in terms of crockery and facilities. Overall a lovely stay and we will be back.

We had the perfect weekend away. In a one bed cabin with private hot tub. Lovely country walks. I remember the snow falling around us making it all that more special.

this place is great for alton towers. We had a 2 night stay here at the end of June with our 3 children. We stayed in one of the bluebell plus pods and it had everything we needed. 3 double beds were perfect and really comfy, and the shower was amazing. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Just returned after a lovely stay. We stayed in lodge 37 (owl)! Lodge immaculately cleaned, hottub immaculate. All staff members lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. My daughter particularly enjoyed the hottub and the park! Can’t fault this place and will 100% be back. We didn’t want to leave.

Another lovely visit to quary walk, we have been coming since 2016 and will probably always make our anual trip here a few small issues but nothing to put us off coming back.|We had cabin fox 20 which was a lovely big 3 bedroom cabin not one we had stayed in before, unfortunately the beds were not put together as directed before hand but this was quickly rectified by a member of staff who was extremely helpful and also helped us with the log burner.|The cabin had a nice big hot tub but unfortunately on the Saturday whist we were out all day the lid had been left half off when the water checks were done and we did find in general the water didn’t stay hot for as long as it has in other cabins we have stayed in, the only other thing we couldn’t get the hang of was the heating it was either roasting hot or freezing cold.|All that aside the cabin could do with a little love but we still had a wonderful peaceful stay and will be back next year

Amazingly quiet lodge park, yet only 3 miles outside Cheadle. No cell signal, so you can relax without disturbances. If you really need internet, there is a paid for service, but it is expensive, so we used our Starlink in a gap in the trees. We didn't use the hot tub as the weather wasn't the best, but I imagine in the summer it's lovely. Highly recommended for a week away in the peace and quiet.
