We loved this hotel. Old fashioned charm right in the heart of the city. The most comfortable bed and reception staff so incredibly friendly and welcoming. Yes parking is not at the hotel unless you’re very lucky and get there early but it’s definitely not a deal breaker when it comes to us staying there again when we’re next in Leeds and with a fantastic French restaurant right next door what is there not to love. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location about 200yards from the train station entrance, located in a quiet street about a 5min walk to the city centre. The room was clean , warm and very spacious. I was in Room 310. Pillows were very soft but requested firmer pillows from reception and all was good. The breakfast was very nice if a little small for the advertised price. All in all would stay here again.

Very beautiful room in a lovely elegant hotel a short step away from the train station. Really nice feel to the place, very gentlemen's club - which indeed it used to be. Calming atmosphere and efficient staff (thanks, Caroline!). Very accommodating with storing our luggage when we arrived early. A very nice experience.

I stayed here for two nights whilst on a work trip. Beautiful hotel. My room was very large with nice decor & absolutely spotless. Had breakfast on one morning which was nice although I felt the waiter was a little too keen but thats not necessarily a negative. Felt like a complete luxury to stay here. It was a shame the Christmas markets were only just being put up. It’s a perfect spot for them! Would highly recommend

Stayed here briefly, first visit. Beautiful historic building located very close to Leeds train station and in central Leeds. Room prices were reasonable considering the quality. The room was spacious, smart and clean. Bed was comfortable, pillows were soft feathered ones, would have been nice to have a firmer one as well as the soft one rather than just two soft ones. Bathroom was clean and shower was brilliant.Nice little bar by the reception but don't ask for cocktails off the menu because the bar person couldn't make cocktails. Breakfast was nice, not huge but decent enough, but pricey for what we got. Some very nice beautiful function rooms.A few small things meant it wasn't a five star, all small things but together meant a solid four stars.

I booked the room at Quebec last minute as l had an extra night in Leeds, We were upgraded to the room we were in as the one we had booked was not going to big enough to accommodate two people. The service was exceptional and the Manager (Carol) was so welcoming made us feel at home. The hotel is located close to the town centre in a quiet street. If you love luxury,and not a fan of chain Hotels this is a place for you. I would have loved to have had breakfast however l had an early appointment which coincided with the breakfast start time. You will not regret your stay.

The first thing I look for in a hotel is a large comfortable bed with no roll together - that’s exactly what we got. I think perhaps the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in. The room was quite traditionally decorated, but it worked well , seemed new and very clean.|We were in Leeds for an event so on our return decided to have a drink in the bar, it was just us and the bartender, but we felt very comfortable, he was very entertaining and made us a good Amaretto sour and a Long Island tea . A great way to round off an evening. |Good service all round , all the staff seemed to go the extra mile.

Very traditional. solid oak furniture even the lamps. Quirky. Small hotel. Breakfast cooked fresh to order. Comfortable bed. Pillows were perfect for me. I wanted a bath, we got a bath, lovely hot water. Fabulous stain glass windows down staircase. Location couldn't be better for shopping, bars and restaurants.
Very expensive for what it was. We have stayed in a few hotels in Leeds and wanted a change. Enjoyed our time away.
