Lovely little tearoom at Emsworth train station. The staff are lovely and friendly, accommodating for children with things like high chairs and refilling water bottles etc.

The tearoom was clean and tidy, although a little small. The food and drinks are reasonably priced compared to other tearooms in the area. Food was very nice and good quality, brownie was lovely.

Sadly I can not leave a 4.5 star review however I feel that would reflect out experience a little more than 4/5

We would recommend to anyone who is visiting the area and will be returning.

Came here for my mums birthday as something cute a quirky. Although the tearoom itself and the china was lovely, the afternoon teas wasn’t very nice. Stale sandwiches with a very limited cake selection. For £17 (£34 for 2) per person we got a Mince pie type thing? half a sandwich and 2 tiny cupcakes. The cupcake sponges were hard and the frosting not very nice. One tasted like tooth paste and the lemon one chemical like. Many other tea rooms similar price with a much better quality and selection of cakes. Love supporting small business but this was poor quality and grossly overpriced for what we were served! It’s a shame, staff were lovely however. (I did not make the booking)

I really like Queenie's and want it to be successful, but the service is so slow that it misses out on passing train trade.

I arrived 10 mins before my train today and in the 7 minutes I waited not one person in the queue was served as they were busy making drinks and serving food to people sitting in. This meant myself and another potential customer had to leave to get our train. I know it's not comparable, but this never happens in the coffee place at Havant station and that's why I normally get my coffee there.

I don't know the answer, but for a business struggling to survive they've got to work out how to balance the great tea room with the passing trade.
