Amazing hotel is a great location. Good gym and pool facilities and one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had. I eat high protein so the quality selection of meats on offer Ham / Beef etc was an added bonus and made getting my protein target really easy.

Excellent location. Great for local bars, restaurants, shops and the cinema. On arrival, we were informed we'd been selected as guests of the day, and so we're given free parking, a room upgrade (with a fabulous view of the Cathedral and River), and complimentary breakfast. As the trip was for my partners birthday, this really made our trip. We ordered breakfast in bed, which was outstanding. Great hotel, great staff. Didn't manage yo get to the spa, but will next time as will 100% be back. Thanks for a great stay.

Once again I had great festive stay to visit my family. Once again I was given warm and friendly service by the staff, a large number of the staff remembered me from previous visits. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff when you encounter an issue that needs resolving. The new breakfast manager was sent to check I was ok one morning when the sensor in my room accidentally went off it appears steam from the shower triggered it. It was good they check out the alarm sensors when they go off in the end the breakfast manager and I could see the funny side as I had to cover myself quickly to tell them through the crack of the door I was fine and ok. On my last Friday there the room refurbishments on the 4th floor started I look forward to seeing the new improved rooms once finished.

The room was lovely, would’ve been nice to have a fridge though. We had breakfast included but the breakfast didn’t have many options, there were no halal or vegan meat only had pork sausages which was a bit of a bummer. The croissants were stale and hard but other than that we had a pleasant experience. The location was nice near the river. Parking was £14 and you had to check your vehicle in which I found was very expensive. I also got this offer from Wowcher so it was worth the price. I would go again but probably stay for more than 1 night.

Fantastic location - you couldn’t do better in Durham.
The rooms were spacious clean and tidy.

Sadly, the boiler had broken and there was no hot water. No fault being laid, and the staff seemed to be coping well with this, if a little too “it is what it is”. I wasn’t at all impressed that the hotel were taking bookings still, this is very disingenuous.

It was an okay stay. I wouldn’t necessarily rush back. The same level as a Premier Inn (who do it better) with ideas it’s a Hilton (who do it better)

I've stayed many times at this Radisson & have always had a lovely stay.

The rooms are comfortable, clean & spacious.

The staff are very polite, friendly & courteous.

If you get a river view room it makes it that much better & you may see the Swans & ducks going up & down the river.

The boiler had broken at the hotel and the staff although apologetic should have informed guests before they made a journey to the hotel. We travelled all the way from Leeds and couldn’t stay with no hot water at £350 a night. We ended up having to stay at the travel lodge. A simple phone call or email would have been all it took so customers could decide for themselves if they wanted to still stay.
