Despite receiving confirmation from Rainbow Wood Farm, and also emailing and once again confirming our booking with them directly, myself and my family arrived to be told they had no record of our booking and that no rooms were available to us. We had travelled from North West England to stay here and are unfamiliar with the area and had no idea what to do next. Who we spoke to then said he didn't know of the bookings fully as his wife was away who would usually handle this and seemed rather uncertain of how to help us further. We all began to find other places to stay locally for our 2 night visit. He offered to book us an Air BnB but under his name, but only showed us photos on his phone and, as we were unfamiliar with the area, turned this down. The Air BnB was also unsuitable for our needs and what we required. We instead asked for a refund as we found a local Travel Lodge with availability. We received an email asking for bank details to issue a refund, which we replied to promptly. We did not receive our refund until the next day after prompting them to issue it, which after finding and paying for alternative accommodation we felt should have been issued immediately and we should not have had to prompt them for this. We were then also offered a free nights stay but this had to be used within the next 6 months. Unfortunately we will not be booking again with Rainbow Wood as this was highly disappointing to our trip to Bath.

Both Rachel and James were so hospitable, after a mix up by myself they were able to accommodate me and my dog. The room was high quality and a great location to walk or get the bus into Bath.

Our weekend at Rainbow wood farm was absolutely perfect from booking until we left. Rachel and James were on hand if we needed them and our room absolutely perfect with a super comfy huge bed. We would definitely return and have recommended.

I have recently stayed here with my partner and baby, the hosts were very accommodating. They were happy for our 5 month old baby to come and stay, they came in and cleaned the room for us in the day which was really nice of them. They leave shampoo, body wash, a kettle, Nespresso machine, towels and everything you could want.

This was our first holiday since having a baby, were very worried about what people would think, the hosts here were very welcoming and honestly made our holiday perfect. Thank you.

We spent two lovely nights at the Rainbow Wood Farm B&B – located a couple of hours from the Heathrow airport. While we rented a car and drove to the B&B from the airport, we parked our car at the B&B for several days, and were able to walk in and out of Bath from the B&B – approximately a mile and a half walk each way - and did not have to deal with the challenges of parking in Bath itself. We loved the rural setting of the B&B and the dogs who greeted us outside in the courtyard. The B&B itself is a historic home built I believe, in the 1600s, which provided much character to the home. We stayed in the clock room, and the bed was comfortable and room was clean as well as we had an ensuite bathroom. The room was very quiet which we greatly needed as we tackled our jet lag from our long flight. The breakfasts were filling and Rachel was helpful and friendly with our many questions. She was also very responsive to email questions I had as we planned our trip. We very much enjoyed the peacefulness of the surrounding countryside. Thank you for your lovely hospitality and we hope to return on our next trip back to the UK.

Situated just one mile from Bath opposite Bath University(can't see it) which has buses every 10 minutes into center. We never used car and even visited Wells by bus( just over an hour through very pretty villages).||Our room was on 1st floor overlooking quiet farm yard. Beautifully decorated and very clean. Comfortable bed. Lovely window seat. Bathroom looked brand new with lovely shower. Tea and coffee making facilities with TV.||No breakfast due to Covid 19 but not a problem as Bath was close by.||Would we come again? Of course we would.
