I did a 90 minute float + fire and ice room and I don't have any complaints at all.

This was my first ever spa experience and I look forward to returning.

My mum also had a massage which she hasn't stopped talking about since!

Today was my first time floating and first time at Recovery Float and I have to say, what an amazing experience. I feel extremely relaxed and rested.

The facilities are great, the shower is bliss and the provided shampoo, conditioner and body scrub smells amazing.

Beatrice was welcoming, polite and put my mind at rest which eased me into the experience.

I have a hectic and busy life so this time out is really beneficial. I will DEFINITELY be returning on a regular basis!

I recently had the most incredible experience at Recovery Float in Stanningley, and I can't stop raving about it! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by Dan and his staff Beatrice, who were not only exceptionally kind and friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable about the services they offer.
The float tank, filled with salt magnesium minerals, provided me with a truly soothing experience for both my muscles and senses. It was a unique and rejuvenating way to relax and unwind, allowing me to reach a state of tranquility that I had never experienced before.
After my float session, I had the pleasure of trying out the infrared sauna and ice bath, which further enhanced my sense of well-being and relaxation. The combination of these treatments left me feeling refreshed, revitalized, and in a zen-like calmness that stayed with me long after I left.
The atmosphere at Recovery Float is simply incredible. As soon as you walk in, a sense of calmness washes over you, creating the perfect environment for relaxation and self-care. I highly recommend treating yourself to a visit at Recovery Float - it's a truly special experience that allows you to be kind to yourself and prioritize your well-being. The premises are immaculate and well-maintained. The owners are incredibly welcoming and exceptionally knowledgeable about floating, providing top-notch instructions, advice, and tips. Each and every tools that had been provided in that pod were useful for first timers!

The flotation tank offers the ultimate relaxation experience. After an hour's float, you feel like you're in space at times.

The first time will be a learning curve because you'll learn the ropes and what's not. You'll be thinking of the second or third trial to maximise the experience!

One of my favourite places in Leeds. I’ve floated on my own and with a friend in the new fire & ice experience and was blown away! RF has a lovely welcoming vibe and Dan is a great host. The offers are extremely good value for money so look out for those. It’s spotlessly clean and there’s always relaxing music and smells. Easy to park and the tanks are down stairs so it’s a silent float that helps with the total relaxing. I’m floating in space every time I go. Highly recommend

I’ve been meaning to book here for a while for my first float experience. I really needed some me time and having a physical job, my body was also ready. I dropped on a good deal for a 60 minute float followed by fire and ice. The float was a surreal experience and ‘switching off’ was made easy. Having the sauna and ice bath after,

I had been considering trying recovery float for quite a while, not sure why it took me so long!
I went for my first session a few weeks ago, I finally made my decision as I’m also being treat by chiropractor for an injury caused by car accident and realised that floating would also be of benefit to my healing process.
When I arrived for my first float I was a bit apprehensive but Dan very quickly put me at ease and his very friendly and reassuring manner helped me to feel excited and relaxed.
The place itself is lovely, extremely clean and welcoming.
Dan is highly knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. He explains everything you need to know and more.
My first experience was very enjoyable, relaxing and I felt both energised and calm following my first float. I loved it so much I block booked 3 more sessions.
This weekend I went for my second session, I went for full darkness and this was definitely better too (I kept the external (room) twinkle lights on the first time.
This is now one of my favourite self care rituals. I would recommend floating to anyone. There are so many benefits but being able to ease tension and fully relax my body is something I’ve never felt, now I can. It also allows space for creative energy to flow as you are able to switch off from the world and other sensory blockages that come with being a human ?

What can I say, Dan the host and owner met me at reception and talked myself and another lady through all the guidance needed to use the tank. The welcome was genuine and warm. Dan really knew his stuff, and you can see how passionate he is about his business. He answered all our questions and gave us full direction. The pods along with the entire place were spotlessly clean. I mean spotless....!! The tank/pod itself and the experience were brilliant. So relaxing and calming. I literally felt my stressed anxious body calming when using it. I have chronic pain too with permanent nerve damage in my spine along with a recently damaged knee. Both felt improved after and I felt reinvigorated. Ready to face the rest of the day. I can't wait for my next session. If you have considered but not done this yet, then please do. Highest recommendation I can give. Great Job and perfectly named.
