A Very good place to eat, excellent food, well presented and an interesting and varied menu. We were made to feel very comfortable by the attentive staff as we dined at a table by the log fire. We will be returning.

We love the Red Lion. We've been for food a few times and the staff are great. Atmosphere is cosy and friendly and the food is always amazing. We called in for a drink and sat in the bar area by the fire and were made to feel very welcome by the staff. 100% reccomend a visit.

Fantastic date night!
The staff answered all of our questions about the me u without hesitation or needing to ask the kitchen, my drink looked and tasted brilliant and the toilets were clean and tidy!
The food, now that was om another level. The portions were perfect and not too filling. The flavours were a sensation and the menu options were great.
The environment was spacious and welcoming.
I couldn't fault a single thing.

Really nice 3 course meal at the red lion this evening with my best friend. Came in a few times and never been disappointed, you get what you pay for that’s for sure!

We had heard about the sunday lunches being served and decided to give the Red Lion a try during the week. I would definitely put it in the gastro pub category. The is relatively small but manages to cover most bases. A small menu means fresh food thats has been thoughtfully prepared. Good wine list and local ales on tap. My only complaint, and i only mention it because 2 of the people I was with did, the portions could be a little larger. We had a great lunch though. Service was efficient, we ended up staying for over 2.5 hours and the only people in the restaurant, but weren't made to feel uncomfortable.

Always love coming for dinner at the Red Lion. Great staff, service, food, drinks and setting. The garden is lovely in the summer.
