Property is a basic no frills truckers motel. Don't go here expecting to be waited on hand and foot. But if you want spotless rooms, good quality no frills greasy spoon food, and the flexibility of 24 hr food, then this is the place for you.

Always a great place to visit, I go with my wife for late evening meal, always get an English breakfast, the staff are lovely and the food is great.

Oh I thought this place had shut long ago (as probably do others). Driving past at 12.00 (as you do) noticed it was open... starving... so had to be done.. a breakfast special please 😋 staff lovely. Lots of history here for me.

Never stayed there but a great cafe destination...the only place around where you can get a massive breakfast and chips at 2am on a sunday morning!.they have a good menu always a free pudding before 8pm...be hungry as they dont skimp on portion size and it all tastes good...friendly service, a nice place to relax and spend some time getting nostalgic with the Duke box!, hard to beat the redbeck cafe an all round chilled destination

Cannot fault the service staff and food.We as a family of 4 2 elderly and daughter and son in law love the restaurant.Normally go between 8pm and 9pm.The service is very quick but the food is fresh and hot.The staff are always friendly polite and nothing too much trouble.Although the rest of family have been going for many years I have just had my 2nd visit and am already arranging to go again end of this week.20 out of 10 stars

Dirty Rooms , Old Bedding , Stayed On Weekend , The Night Female Check In Was , Abrupt & Rude, Very Unprofesional . Although In The Morning The Check Out & Lady At Front Was Polite , Curtiouse & Very Profecional . I Have Used This Motel For 40 Years , I Shall Not Go Back Or Recomend As I Have In Past .
I Apologise To All The Good Team , But The Owner Needs To Sort The Old , Rude Check In Lady .

This place is an absolute gem of a place. The rooms are clean and comfy but even better than that is the Redbeck Full English you get in the morning. There's no need to plan for lunch (or dinner as we call it up here) that breakfast will set you up for days. It's fabulous! The rooms aren't 5* luxury with jacuzzi tubs and bathrobes. They are very clean and the beds are so comfortable. You get all the basics, TV, tea, coffee & hot chocolate making facilities what more do you actually need? If you want the luxury you can go and find it elsewhere but you'll be paying for it! This place is perfect for a touring base or a few nights visiting family. Go on, treat yourself to some good old value for money.
