A few days ago I went to Burnley to take my business purpose and I stayed in regent guest house two days and regent guest house is neat and clean and stuff are very helpful , cordial and co operative

I wasn't visiting the house, I was going to another place. That had no Relevance to my being in the vicinity of Regent guest house.

We wasn't expecting high standards cheap room to get head down is all we needed . The photos are nothing like the photos to start .outside looked OK compared to the surrounding area but we didn't know if the bars on the windows and many cameras was a good thing or bad when arriving. We was greeted and shown how to wrk the locks ect no issues there .rooms was standard communal kitchen and areas was run down and dirty. But the main issue was when we arrived back from our event our door was open and two bottles of vodka had been stolen from our room! We rang the managup and they said they would check the cameras as there is many facing everyones doors rooms hallway ect.they said they told next door to leave as there was many ppl in the room causing noise and possibly them that had been in. After they left next doors door was open and it looked as the guest was living there not an overnight stay like us.about 4am I heard them shouting and returning back to the room .we did not feel safe at all and still no response from the team on who broke into our room !

We came to stay in August to visit family in a nearby town. The thing is - we couldn't even bear to stay... When we opened the room, the "bathroom" was mouldy, no toilet paper, unclean, dark room. When we looked at the beds and got the courage to open up the sheets - there were hairs in the bed, they did not look clean. Our family couldn't face the idea of staying there one night - we decided if we would have had to, that we would have slept with our clothes on - on top of the covers. Also got a peek at the guest kitchen which looked more like what you'd expect a meth lab to look like. Would not recommend. The photos do not match the property at all. Even if it's been cleaned up since, I would never be back there. The girl who was there at the time was quite friendly and understanding... So we can't fault her... But the area was rough too. People were following us around on the streets. We luckily found another hotel and didn't have to stay even one night. Avoid it - especially with family!

Booked to stay one night here. I am writing this from the slightly uncomfortable bed at 2:42am as we have still not been able to get to sleep. The room itself isn't bad - basic, but clean. However the area this guest house is situated in is not great, as it seems to be surrounded by noisy revellers who have been continuing being rowdy long after the pubs and clubs have kicked them out. Additionally we have had to put up with inconsiderate guests who are still blasting music despite me asking them to turn it down. Maybe this is suitable accomodation for the hard of hearing or deaf. But otherwise, if you're looking for a good night's sleep look elsewhere!! Have never left a bad review of anywhere until now but I wouldn't want anyone else to have to deal with trying to sleep here.

Damien the host is lovely 🤗 Really welcoming even last minute. Make sure to double check the booking information. Beds are super comfy 👌 Simplistic and all the basic needs are met.

It was a great experience for my family to stay in the regent guest house. We will definitely choose next time this guest house. The room & the service was excellent.
