Liked: Love the fact you can put your tent were you prefer and have as much space as you need. You don't get that often. The lakes were nice and we even tried our hand at fishing for the first time ever. The toilets were cleaned every day. The gentleman in the fishing shop who owns it was so nice and happy to help when needed, also when we went in for a cheap rod got lots of help from another gentleman who worked there. I like the fact you have the ice block exchange so our milk and food stayed fresh instead of wasting it in our cooler box.

Liked: Countryside location next to fishing lakes.
The site is basic but toilets are cleaned regularly and the shower is fully adjustable for heat and height.
Price was good and i had a choice of where to pitch. Quiet time from 10pm.

Disliked: Road fairly noisy.
Shower cubicle has nowhere to keep clothes and towell dry as hooks on door so close to spray.
Bins were overflowing even though site was quiet.
Camper van was allowed to pitch literally a few metres from the front of my tent despite the rest of the field being empty.

Liked: Had a lovely pitch right in front of the lake. Peaceful and quiet place. There are no designated pitches, so you can camp anywhere. It's a basic campsite but there are showers and toilets also washing up station. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The tackle shop has everything you need to fish. Also there is some food to buy if you run out of things. If you don't fish then it would be a great place to use for a base if you wanted to go exploring. Will definitely be going again.

Liked: Reception staff are situated within the tackle shop. They were friendly and very helpful, answering any questions. The toilets and shower area were kept clean and tidy. Toilet rolls always stocked up!
The site, is mainly laid to lawn but has beautiful views of surrounding hillsides and lakes.
My children enjoyed the fishing lakes and the ice cream truck!
As a family we really appreciated the 10pm quiet time.
We will be visiting again!

Disliked: Nothing.. it was a well enjoyed camping trip.

Liked: Lovely site, lots of little walks to have around the outskirts of the lakes, the hosts were so nice and welcoming!
Only thing it could have done with was a couple more showering facilities and another toilet but the block was kept clean, fresh and tidy! We really did enjoy our stay there and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Liked: Liked everything about our stay, have been visiting Revels for over 30 years, have always stayed in one of the static caravans but this time stayed in our campervan, great pitch close to Trendles lake, great views of the lake and great fishing too. Always have a great time here and catch loads of fish would highly recommend and will definatley be back. The fresh eggs on sale in the shop are fantastic too. Jason and all the staff are very welcoming.

Liked: What a gem of a place! It's tranquil setting is the perfect get away. It's a small site. Stunning views. Shower was adequate. It's hot and wet...what more do you need.
Really friendly welcome. Totally chilled. Grass pitches. Electric available when booking. We will definitely be returning even though we aren't in to fishing...you don't need to be. It's quiet after 10pm. No light pollution so for you star gazers....you'll love it!

Disliked: Toilet block and shower could do with an upgrade but it was adequate.

Liked: Great location, was lovely and peaceful, when we arrived we could pick where we wanted to pitch and there was no space restrictions.
They have great fishing lakes, hubby and son tried out 3 lakes over 3 days and caught a variety of fish, even caught a few myself! The people are friendly and you get the biggest icecreams ever when the van comes to the site! The toilet/shower block is basic but clean and did the job.

The site is a great base for days out and Dorchester is just under 20 minutes drive if you fancy a bit of shopping and there is a large Tesco.

Great value for money and would definitely stay there again
