A special place, to be sure. The bullock shed was perfect for a quiet, restful getaway to create long-lasting memories. The palpable history of the glen and estate can be felt everywhere. I'll definitely be back!

The Bullock Shed was the perfect getaway cottage. Warm, cosy, beautifully furnished and lacking nothing. It was a home from home during our mixed weather week. A very friendly welcome and a much appreciated bottle of wine on arrival.We would recommend this lovely part of Argyll and hope to come back some day

Lovely cottage set in a stunning location. The property was well maintained, spotlessly clean and just perfect for our family of four plus dog. We had fabulous weather and enjoyed dining in the garden. Kilmartin is a magical place with an abundance of nature and historical sites nearby. The owners were friendly and helpful and I would definitely recommend this cottage for a Scottish holiday. We hope to return in the future.

More about the cottage in a second but for anyone that doesn’t know the area it is EXCELLENT. The cottage is totally rural but it is around 8 miles on an easy road to a small supermarket (Coop), an Esso petrol station and other small shops (Lochgilphead).
There is lots of history walkable, cycling or driving and amazing scenery.
The Bullock Shed had a really nice feel to it and all amenities needed, it is clean and tidy.
The hosts are really friendly.

Stayed in The Bullock Shed, it was very comfortable, warm and cosy. There were perfect extras that you always need but never have like Salt, oil, bin liners - simple things but away from home they make a difference. The location was also perfect with lots to see nearby. We loved our stay and would love to come back again.
