Lovely setting…so peaceful and relaxing and you have lovely walks and a pub to wonder down to… |The lodge was ok but… |Needs a thorough clean and TLC |Bedroom curtain rail coming off the wall and you need blackout curtains or something to darken the rooms |A couple of washing/dishwasher pods and a quarter of washing up liquid and a dirty well used sponge which sorry not hygienic! |Eggs and milk was nice touch but a couple of eggs broken |No hand soap/shower gels etc so bring your own |No bin bags/liners ( bring your own) |A few coffee/tea bags but all felt a bit thrown together and not a lot of thought…|Would be nice to have a map of some of the walks in the area included in the welcome pack |We stayed in Maple and if we choice to come back we’d definitely stay in a different new lodge as this one has seen better days |All in all though we had a nice few days away but prefer the Lake District

We had a very nice long weekend in one of the lodges at Ribble valley view. Booked through Hoseasons which went well other than a high price required for a pet booking presume for cleaning, with this in mind the lodge was slightly let down by its cleanliness. The veranda was full of long black dog hairs which when we opened the patio doors allowed the breeze to blow them in to the lodge. Some areas of furniture also had the hairs ingrained . Cobwebs in the ceiling corners and some surfaces failed the finger dust test. So might be an idea to have a word with the cleaners. Other than that it was an excellent well managed clean quiet park with super views that has well designed lodges.

We booked through hoseasons last January , a really good budget price for the Christmas period 23-27th.On arrival we spent a good 20 mins driving around looking for our allocated lodge , only indication to what lodge is what is small Plaque on the lodges may be an idea for park owners to install signs.| The lodge is like a home from home (heating was on at arrival so cosy and snug) in certain aspects eggs on arrival but no milk like welcome book states , also book says we would have opportunity to order milk/eggs etc but I think given it was right on Christmas they were busy elsewhere. We were also supplied with 2 x washing machine pods 2 dish washer pods , washing up liquid and a cloth , the lodge could really do with a pizza cutter and a better pan set which I went out to purchase a pan as doing a Christmas dinner with the pans provided wasn’t going to happen and a set of knives ie chopping which I also had to purchase from local supermarket. |Other aspects could be improved such as Carpets need freshening up/replacing Walls need repainting… Matt paint isn’t good for a rental property as it holds all marks and scruffs and isn’t wipeable for the cleaners attending to the lodges |Silicone round bath/shower has slight black mould.|I was a bit disappointed having contacted hoseasons to see with it being Christmas the only addition to the lodge would be a wreath on the front door , I spent around £10 for little accessories myself and it made all the difference to the interior.|Despite the things above we made the most of it and enjoyed our family time together and can’t really grumble too much for the price we paid , it was a nice experience somewhere to relax (hot tubs would be a great addition to the lodges which I’d happily pay extra for ! ) ||My photos below are on me leaving the lodge NOT on arrival as I took the time to strip the beds for the cleaners …. Spotless mattress pillows with protectors underneath bedding

Quite disappointed that Hoseason failed to let us know that the lodge we had booked 12th April had work being carried out right outside the lodge. After our holiday I stripped the bed ready for cleaners only to find a huge yellow stain on the quilt and 2 pillows had blood stains. The lodge was lovely well equipped but could have been better with a more thorough clean. Everytime the machinery moved the telly froze & unfortunately the weather wasn't brilliant for us to ho out visiting areas. Other than the above the views were lovely and a quite place to relax. My husband Emailed Hoseason and as yet no response, very disappointed.

Booked with Hoseasons. We paid for the high chair which was not there when we arrived. After phoning the site contact they brought us a high chair full of black mould. We then had to travel back home to collect our high chair. We were told we would be refunded even though this would not have compensated the inconvenience. No refund came and Hoseasons live chat is unresponsive. It's a real shame as the location and lodge were great apart from the building work going on for new lodges.

Had a wonderful week stay here, around the place are amazing welsh views great for photography and perfect for drone flying.

Getting setup in the accommodation on was a breeze with no need for in-person contact, just a box attached next to the font door with a code given to you when paid for.

Inside the rooms were spotless ready for us to relax, with all of the utensils stocked up for cooking and eating.

Last thing to note is that leaving is as easy as leaving the keys in the box, and if you so happen to leave any items, like I did, the staff are happy to help by either keeping it safe for you to collect, or even, posting your items to your home address at your convenience.

Lovely welcoming lodge we arrived to, heating was on and fresh milk and eggs were provided in the fridge which was a lovely touch. Lodge was clean, tidy with plenty of space. Even has a built in washer/dryer, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Area is lovely, some noise during the day due to some area expansion of more lodges - nothing major. Neighbours lovely - a lot are privately owned. Large bins towards the entrance and a security barrier for added privacy. Pub down the road is beautiful, not much else around unless you drive a few miles. Lodge was dog friendly meaning we could bring our two pups with us, it meant more bringing them with us and they loved it. ||||||Small issues we had were that the patio doors didn’t lock properly, we had to lock from the outside and then walk back around to the front when we wanted them open. There were no handles on bathroom taps to turn them on/off, however we managed as the taps themselves turn. Finally there was no vacuum (not essential but we like to clean before we leave).

Nice place, next to fields beautiful scenic views, good mobile coverage and WiFi at all Lodges.

No bother about these but no complimentary milk and eggs (vegetarian so doesn't matter this to us) as mentioned in their booklet, previous user left freezer compartment full of fruit and veg, clearly staff haven't cleared it. No toilet rolls and hand wash. In addition to above towel and bedsheets didn't look very clear as can see marks and bathroom extractor fans aren't working either.
