My husband and I were invited to a two day sampling of the home.
We found the experience excellent. The decor, food, accommodation and overall stay was most enjoyable. We are both late retirees and this has enabled us to imagine what life would be like for us both if we bought into the home. Very positive. The staff were so very pleasant and helpful and we could not have felt more welcomed. Thank you. Lin and Norman Ashby

Very pretty place, all of the staff we met were very helpful and friendly.
But... the spa is were we went for our Christmas treat. The lady on reception was working alone so we had to have treatments at different times, which wasn't ideal. The treatment was lovely, quality oils and a friendly, thoughtful masseuse.
The rooms were too cold as was the pool to the point of not being enjoyable.
The afternoon tea although pre booked had been overlooked and we got a thrown together meal with a choice of salmon or tinned ham sandwiches which alone would stop me from returning.

Helpful staff. Going for a try out next week for a back massage, will know more then. Price 's for the Spa very good in price. Plus can use the hot tub on it's own, calcot had to go with a package & expensive. ?

Very pleasant half spa day. Massage was great and the facilties are impressive. Would definitely recommend the half day with afternoon tea!
