Been coming up here with my mum for around 1 and a half years now. The summers up here are great with amazing views of the hills around. The winters are even better cozy up in our caravan. Facilities are amazing and easily accessible. The location is perfect, close to shops and bars. Would highly recommend.

Been coming regularly for nearly 3 years, lovely site. Few site improvements being carried out recently.. nice group of people and very child friendly.. Damian (site manager) very helpful and will go out of his way to help, highly recommend

Almost abandoned driving up the narrow hill and access road.
It's in terrible condition and I thought my tyres might shred.
Campsite has extremely basics.
It's handy for Whaley Bridge but next time I'd rather drive another 20 miles and get a proper site.
I would like to add that the site manager is very helpful and helped me position my caravan by hand.
I understand that the state of access road is not his fault but caravaners should be made aware.Sorry if the site don't like my post but it's true and accurate and i found it scary driving up and back down which has never happened before.

Location was spot on - close enough to shops etc. and with the peak district just on the doorstep. Toilet and shower block always clean and accessible. Perfect no-frills site for what we wanted with our touring caravan.
Damian (site manager) took great care of us and was so quick to reply to all communication, thanks so much! Beware that the road up is currently quite potholey, so navigate with caution. Hopefully the owners will be able to repair this now the weather is improving.

We stayed here for 2 nights camping and had an excellent time, the views are amazing and only a short walk in to Whaley Bridge which has pubs, restaurants, shops and canal basin to watch the boats or even enjoy a cruise on one if you fancy. The host Rose at the campsite was very friendly and nothing was a problem and always there to help. The toilet/shower facilities were spotless. We even had a little patio area which was a bonus. ||We will definitely be returning and hopefully soon. Keep up the good work Rose see you soon. Dave & Wendy.

We have stayed here for a few weeks with our tourer caravan. It is in a lovely quiet relaxing place, beautiful views of the peaks. The site is clean and tidy, Rose the proprietor is so helpful and will go out of her way to make your stay as good as it can be. Whaley Bridge is a short walk away, lovely walks on the canal.||We also had friends stopping in the Holiday Let Static, they had an excellent stay.||If you want peace and quiet I would highly recommend Rinstones for your stay.

I can not say enough good words about this caravan park! From first contact to schedule, to day of leaving, all has been extremely pleasant. My parents planned to stay here for 3 weeks, but loved it so much they stayed for 4,5 weeks! The park is beautiful, peaceful and extreemly tidy. The toilets are clean and the showers are great!
The manager, Rose, was a blessing to us. With me being new to the area myself, she made sure she had a list for us with all the highlights, must do’s and must sees in the area. She even scheduled some outing for us, for example a tour in a narrow boat, a fabulous afternoon tea and she set up a cozy fire pit area for us at the park to enjoy.
She was always friendly, available for questions and just overal absolutely wonderful.
The park has gorgeous views and even though its conveniently located to main roads, you feel like your off the beaten path.
My parents will definitely stay here again and we will recommend everyone to stay here when they come visit the area.

Lovely views across and along the valley, high above Whaley Bridge. Limited but good, flat pitches for tents. Mainly static caravans but space on top terrace for mobile caravans. Very clean loos and showers which were hot and powerful. Manager kindly assembled fire pit and logs complete with marshmallows and fairy lights. Children thrilled. A good find - a quiet, beautiful spot!
