I was dubious about receiving toxin injections but wanted to try the treatment prior to our wedding. From the moment I spoke to the lovely ladies in reception through to the treatment itself with Dr. Victoria, I've not regretted it. The clinic is spotless and the service is faultless. Dr. Victoria is extremely personable and thorough and even recommended an injection, as part of my treatment, for my gummy smile which had bothered me for some time. She didn't push at all and it was great to be told that Botox could do this as I was clueless. I am so chuffed with the results and have been frequenting now since February. I have had so many compliments and a few friends and family members are now considering toxin treatment off the back of my results. I would highly recommend!

I’ve left it some years to write a review hoping that the dimple in my cheek would go away. It hasn’t.
Avoid having a thread lift here with Charlotte Woodward at all costs. It’s too late to sue but I hope this review will save others from a botch procedure.
At no stage did anyone check in on me when knowing full well that the results were less than satisfactory.Totally unprofessional .
I only got a “I’m sorry” and a refund when this lady finally understood that she had made an error. Looks like I’m stuck with this dimple on my face forever. If I could give a zero I would.
No need to generate your standard robotic response to this review as you do to anyone that has been left unhappy.
Truly awful. Watch out Cosmetic Skin Clinic ( I can see you have merged).

I have been seeing Dr Charlotte at River Aesthetics (at their Bournemouth and Harley Street clinics) for a year now and I am delighted how she is helping me hold back the years of time! The way she delivers polynucleotide treatments using her years of experience means zero downtime (I have gone straight to an event afterwards!) or discomfort. I have now had a mid-face thread lift and, though is early days as was only two weeks ago, I was able to go out within days, had no bruising and minimal swelling. The result is subtle so no comments of 'oh my goodness have you had a facelift' but my husband keeps looking at me and commenting on how well I look (he might even have used the word 'better'!). Highly recommend (good value too!)

I spent a wonderful morning at River Aesthetics recently.

I love the location of the premises in Bournemouth, discreet, but easy to find and get to by car or on foot. Parking is easy, but plenty of coffee shops nearby if you've set up a lift to take you home.

Not that I needed an escort home. I skipped out of Reception after my treatment into the bustle of Bournemouth, bright-eyed and rosy cheeked, knowing that I was going to feel even better in a few days and definitely looking fresher in a few months.

I'd already met the delightful Dr Victoria Manning a couple of weeks previously, when we chatted about life in general during my consultation. She's very good company. She's empathic and I found it myself feeling very relaxed and happy to talk to her about many of the issues that I would normally only ever address to the reflection in my bathroom mirror.

After the age of 65, there are many signs relating to our skin, face and body that are easier to ignore than address. Normally I'm grateful that my poor eyesight helps to block out the wrinkles, crevices and crepey skin that I used to notice only with my mother and her friends as they grew older.

Victoria gave me hope that, maybe, there are ways to delay these signs of ageing. I'd always accepted that this type of improvement was for other people, in showbusiness, or footballers' wives or on tv. I still can't believe that I've hit the jackpot!

I'm so grateful and feel so lucky. I've had Ellanse Dermal Fillers and can already see an amazing difference. My cheeky laughter lines have been smoothed and the hollows in my cheeks have been reduced.

The team have told me that I will see more improvements in a few months as the collagen takes effect, but I'm already happy with what I can already see. I was slightly concerned that it would hurt before attending my very first appointment, but I needn't have worried. This procedure is pain-free and Victoria and the team really put me at ease. I didn't expect to feel pampered, but I did - and still do...
