Riverside Cottages - Bakewell

These are fantastic cottages in a very convenient location. Set by a lovely river and just around the corner from a small bakery, Aldi and the Tap Room, which is a great bar and eatery.

The cottages are in a very quiet area but are only a short walk along the riverside to the centre of Bakewell. They are dog friendly, as is most of Bakewell, and perfectly situated for scenic walks.

The cottages themselves are very clean and well maintained. All the appliances are available, with a TV in every room and a log fire in the living room.

Bedrooms are very comfortable with king-sized beds. One of the bedrooms has ensuite and additional bunkbeds.

It was a very enjoyable stay and I would definitely come back again.

Very very well appointed cottage. We enjoyed our week, it made a great base for walking. It's a short stroll to Bakewell and Aldi is 2 mins away. Close to the cottage is an excellent brewery with interesting bar, a great bakery for bread in the morning and an excellent cafe. Thoroughly recommended.

We stayed for a long weekend as a couple in these beautiful cottages down by the lovely river. Set back a 10 minute walk from the main centre of Bakewell it's the perfect distance to still be in the heart of the town but far enough away to avoid hearing traffic and people.

They are spacious and well looked after cottages with all your amenities from toilet paper to logs for the fire. You will find that there is a pleasant walk along the side of the river into the town, and nothing beats the sound of waking up to the running water from the river.

A short drive from the Monsal Trail or even a 20 minute walk.

Perfect location with parking and close to the town so you can enjoy a few drinks in the charming little pubs or a nice meal out without worrying about the car.

They even price matched a quote from another cottage.

This is a must stay place and would highly recommend to anyone. We stayed as a couple but there is 3 bedrooms, all large and bright with room for six to stay.

I had a lovely stay at River Cottage with my Chinese colleagues. We had a 2 cottages with 3 bedrooms each. Have good facilities and atmosphere! The rooms were ideal - comfortable, clean and with lots of extra thoughtful touches. Bakewell is just nearby and we made our own breakfast. Near by river isoneof the best attraction

But the eating options are very less in here, you need to go to bakewell for that. Bakewell is just 500 mtrs from this and have good options!

Fabulous stylish cottages, that are warm, welcoming and a great location in Bakewell. We stayed here with our dog. Great walks from the front door - amazing advice in the welcome packs. Great pubs and restaurants a 5-10 minute pleasant walk into Bakewell (either along the Wye or A6) parking for 2 cars (unheard of in this lovely town.). Bakewell is a great location for visiting fabulous Derbyshire sites - Haddon Hall, Hardwick Hall, Chatsworth... Or the plague village of Eyam. Walks a plenty (from gentle to the more challenging kinder scout.

Would have no hesitation of staying again at these lovely cottages. Hire all 3 for bigger groups?

Beautiful location, the coaches have really been done up well. Very high standard. We've been here for two years in a row now, can't see that the cottages are being used a lot. Also thumbs up for peak venues for their perfect communication.

Really clean, well kitted out with mod cons and high spec furnishings. Short walk into town and round the corner from a famous craft beer brewery. Recommended.
