Wonderful meal here, serving just pizzas on this particular evening, being diary free, i was concerned. I shouldn't have been. One of the best pizzas I've ever had (including cheese topped pizza) chef went above and beyond to make it tasty!! Really delicious. We will be back

We have just spent three nights at the riverside inn and can’t fault it at all. Our room was spotless every day. The staff were extremely friendly even when we forgot to order our breakfast the night before. Not a problem. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you Riverside. Mike and Juliet

Nice pub, cider selection was not to my standards. Food was amazing. We enjoyed the beer garden. I noticed there was live music, which was nice. Not a bad pub, great for kids to play safely.

We love this place normally but today's visit on Mothers Day was awful. It was a cattle market. Half an hour queues to get a drink and order your food. 6 people squashed onto a table for 4, 3 people squashed onto a table for 2. Then 40 minute queue to get your self serve carvery. Food was ok, dessert was delicious. Felt sorry for the staff working today. This was pure greed by the management to get as many people into the restaurant as they could. Our ticket showed as number 1452 and this was a 1.30pm booking. The queue behind us was through the restaurant and going down the stairs. People had brought mum's out for a treat only to find an absolute cattle market. At £23.00 each people expect better.

What a stunning venue! When we visited busy in the bar, pizzas, fish and chips even Caribbean menu all being served. A wedding ceremony was taking place over looking the river. Will be visiting again.

What an absolute nightmare. I can not believe this place was charging £23 ppl plus highly priced drinks for what was supposed to be a Mothers Day Treat. They crammed people in like sardines, too many people on tables not big enough to accommodate. Don't get me started on the queues for ordering drinks and then the horrendous queue to get your carvery from a messy counter. The staff were running round like headless chickens, I didn't envy them at all. Clearly bad management on a day that should have been special but more interested in getting more people in and more money at the cost of their customers enjoyment.

Excellent location and very friendly pub staff. Had a Jamaican curry goat with a flatbread. The goat was good though the rice had a weird texture and the beans were overcooked. It came at £16. The flatbread was also an interesting flatbread - cracker thin/crisp - which I ate with pleasure though that’s not what I expected and I wouldn’t probably order it again for £5. Id give it a 10 for location but 7 for food. Had eaten there in the past and would go again
