**Highly Recommended ** I was half way through a 2000 mile charity trek for the Royal Air Force Association and as I walked up to the site I could see an RAF flag billowing in the wind which they had put up to celebrate my arrival. After a really tough day it was amazing to see. It was a sign of the wonderful welcome I would receive at this fantastic site. I had such a warm and friendly greeting when I arrived. The site manager and his lovely partner could not have been more helpful or more affable. I was well looked after and was shown such kindness. The site itself is set in a beautiful location, and at night there is no light pollution so you can see an incredible star scape. The facilities are spotlessly clean and well maintained and if you don't want to self cater there is a gorgeous pub a 5 minute walk away on the river. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Nothing is too much trouble and if you chose to stay here, you will have a lovely holiday

Arrival was good with the new smart driveway. The new owner/manager said that as we had visited before we would see some improvements - from this we expected the toilet block to be updated. Sadly thus was not the case. The toilets had new wall tiles but that was it. 2 showers but only one working! and the number of tents who would particularly need these facilities was poor. The cleaner did her best but every morning and late at night there would be dead flies everywhere. Obviously they need a fly screen on the Windows - easily remedied but can't understand why they hadnt addressed this problem Asap.||I think the owners/manager seem to be very inexperienced - why would you randomly let people pitch up wherever? This resulted in tents and caravans mingled together a couple of feet apart literally!||Partly because of this it was very noisey till late 12/1230 pm.||They now have static mobile homes to purchase which I understand will take up 1/2 of the site. These are also very close together.||This is such a shame as this was a beautiful site and lovely location.||The website has not been updated and you can't book on it and no-one returns your calls. So why don't they put a message up to say website not working!||Do not recommend at the moment.||There seems to be a lack of common sense all round.||Hopefully all the above comments will be taken on board and it will be a desirable campsite once again.||Maybe next year things will be more organised and maintained once they gave this season out of the way. Best if luck

We were welcomed by the new management and walked to our pitches which were large and mostly flat. The area for tents is small so the amenities were more than adequate, even on a busy bank holiday weekend. Site is well maintained although one of two ladies showers was not working. Dogs welcome but there was a young child in one of the tents so not sure if this is still an adult only site.

I came here in September with my teenage daughter to stay for a few weeks whilst waiting for my house to sell. I ended up purchasing one of their mobile homes as everyone here is so lovely, friendly and helpful. The staff cannot do enough for you, even at 2am when the barrier wouldn't lift I called someone and within 10 minutes it was sorted. |Like I said, I live here with my teenage daughter and now our 3 dogs. It's got a family vibe to it, everyone is willing to help one another out. The park is kept clean and tidy. Everyone cleans up after their dogs. |There are some lovely walks around and a really nice pub within walking distance. There are plenty of shops in Littleport and the city of Ely is only 5 miles away, there are beaches that are only a short drive away too.|Highly recommended. |I'm shocked to read some of the reviews on here (I think same family members are writing negative reviews to bring down the reputation of the park).

Really nice quiet site and the people running it are very helpful. Although the showers are a bit dated they are nice and hot (but could do with a floor squeegy to clean up after you've finished) and there was loo roll in the toilets which is always a good sign. There are plenty of water/electricity point around to use. We will definitely be going back there in the future.

Stayed here for 2 nights Friday to Sunday with family so we had 3 tents in total. Nice flat pitches all be it random pitches. Put your tent up where you like.. but that was good for us. |Toilet block was cleaned everyday with was good. Warm shower. Only had 2 women's showers and one was out of order. 5 toilets and one of them was out of order also. |2 sinks for washing up facilities. And bin storage areas and drinking water taps. |Nice atmosphere.|On the down side. I would bother going onto their website as it hasn't been up dated in a year or so.. there are no chickens here any more. Pitch prices on the website say £12 for a small pitch with no electric and £20 for a large with electric. When you get there it's £20 a pitch what ever size pitch/ tent you have with or without electric. I did query this and they said that the website is old and needs to be updated.... so don't be upset when you have a small tent with out electric you pay what a caravan pays....||Apart from these 2 negatives. The camp site it fine. |Not far from Ely and nice canal over the road. ||I wouldn't come back but it's OK for a few nights.

A lovely adults only site, everyone was friendly that we met and very helpful in suggesting places to go nearby. All pitches were of a good size and layered out in a way that each one was private. The shower and toilet block was clean but a little old fashioned but the whole site is value for money.
