Karen & Alan were very welcoming hosts. Very pretty house. They kindly hosted us and our three grown up children. Even offering our daughter her own room. They booked a local pub for supper for us and even changed the time of the booking as we were running late. Really delicious breakfast was served on Sunday morning and they made time to chat to us. We really enjoyed one night stay at Riverside Lodge, which is conveniently located near Bath. Karen and Alan were incredibly friendly and helpful and even recommended a wonderful local restaurant, which turned out to be a great success! Their B&B is tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. We were treated to a 5 star breakfast, which included home made pastries! Would highly recommend.

We had the most wonderful stay with Karen and Alan for the weekend while visiting for a family wedding. Their house and garden are beautiful and this is carried on into the bedrooms, beautiful interiors & really comfy beds. The breakfast was the best we've ever had at a B&B, excellent choice of options and in lovely, relaxed dining room. Felt completely at home throughout our stay and Karen & Alan were so helpful. Would highly recommend to all, would suit couples, families and for business trips and we certainly will never stay anywhere else now we've found this little gem.

Our stay at the river side lodge was excellent. Karen and Alan couldn't have been more caring, accommodating and kind to us during our stay. Their home is beautifully idyellic,and we would choose to stay here over a 5* hotel any day! Breakfast was also amazing and karen even took the time to care for our vegan dietry requirements which was very much appreciated! Our party of two kids and two adults chose Riverside Lodge as a base to explore Bath and visit Longleat and Cheddar Gorge. ||The booking process was very straightforward with Karen helping with every request. This continued on our arrival with nothing being too much effort for Karen & Alan, our hosts. ||Our rooms were very comfortable and the kids didn’t want to get up in the morning they were so comfortable.||Then there was breakfast!! A lovely feast every morning to set up for the day, beautifully done. ||I can recommend Riverside Lodge without hesitation.

Huge thank you to Karen and Alan.||Seven of us recently stayed in this gorgeous bnb as we were attending a wedding nearby in Priston Mill. ||Karen and Alan were so welcoming and couldn't have been more hospitable. They even printed off a wedding reading for us that we'd left at home! ||The morning of the wedding they allowed us to pop a bottle of fizz in their fridge and even provided us with champagne glasses. ||The house itself is stunning - Alan informed us it was an old pub and it's been restored beautifully keeping all the original features. ||The rooms are spacious and the beds so comfy (fab duvets).||The breakfast was extremely yummy (and much needed post wedding!!). The smoked salmon and caviar was the winner for me. ||Thank you again for letting us stay in your home and making us feel so welcome. I wouldn't hesitate recommending it to anyone.

We went back to Riverside Lodge for the tenth time this year. Can't say enough good things about the whole area. Karen and Alan, the hosts at Riverside are two of the loveliest people we have ever met. They will do anything they can to enhance your stay with them. Their knowledge of the local area and various attractions is excellent and they're always happy to give you tips on the best places to visit. The area itself is wonderful with both Bristol and Bath within easy striking distance of the Lodge and many other things to visit from elegant houses and gardens, to RSPB sites, Longleat and all that has to offer and so much more. If you want to see this part of the world, Riverside Lodge is the best place to start.

My family stayed here whilst attending a family party nearby. Lovely house and very comfortable rooms. A shared spacious bathroom. The hosts went out of their way to communicate very clear directions and offered my daughter her own room for no extra charge which was very much appreciated. The breakfast was extensive and delicious. Offering cereals, pastries, home made jams and delicious cooked options. We would highly recommend Riverside Lodge.
