I had a lovely stay. The owners are so friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. My room was lovely, with a set of binoculars included in order to admire the fantastic view. The breakfast was superb - especially the homemade veggie sausages. I would highly recommend and hope to visit again soon.

This is our third time to stay at Riverview Guesthouse and we love it. It is situated in a nice quite area. Lyn is very friendly and welcoming everytime we stay. Rooms are really comfortable and include tea/coffee making facilities and a good tv. Amazing organic breakfast served in the morning with a great selection of hot and cold items to choose from. Great place to stay, highly recommend. See you next year Lyn x

This is a lovely quaint Georgian B&B please note no ensuites but this is reflected in the price don’t mark it down for this : if you want an ensuite pay more and go elsewhere! I was working away from home and wanted a well reviewed affordable place to stay but would consider going back for a short break. Such lovely hosts and the quality and attention to detail with the breakfast was truly astonishing. The room was lovely. Thank you so much I will be back. It is also dog friendly and there are dogs on the premises which are very friendly.

Stayed here for two nights and must say our stay was lovely, we had a brilliant room overlooking the lakes and sand dunes and over to the sea. It has to be the most dog friendly hotel I’ve ever been to...Lynn treated our dog like her own. The breakfast was amazing, no skimping at all. I would most definitely recommend Riverview and will definitely be returning.

We stayed here three nights in an of peak season. No major events in town as far as I was aware.

Conveniently located at seven minutes walk from Waterloo town centre and the Merseyside northern line - that you can use to reach Liverpool in just 17 minutes - this b&b is a good compromise for a break. It's a bit expensive when compared to other b&b I've been before and some pre booked hotel in Liverpool, but overall doable.

Lyn and Kevin are good hosts, and their place is quite nice and well adjusted for their guests.

Had an overall nice experience and good breakfast, though the other permanent guests that were with us were a bit noisy on their return from their shift at late night.
The place is clean under all aspects (just a minor but of dust that was probably forgotten than anything else), with towels changed even during our short stay. The additional bed for our daughter was a bit hard, but Lyn made everything she could to ease.

Just a minor thing. If you fancy a private bathroom, this place is not for you.

1st time here as I left Crosby a week ago for another part of the Country. Wasn't aware of this wonderful little place to stay until recently. Lyn and Kevin are wonderful hosts. My reason to stay was to come" home" to see friends and a retirement bash. So this is now on my Radar for many more future visits to see friends and der I say several more retirement party's. But for those who wish to see Liverpool and other local places this place is a cosy and friendly place to set up a base of operations. Slept like a log and woke up refreshed . HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |Thanks you Lyn and Kevin

This was a lovely stay. The beach is less than one minute's walk with the Gormley Art Installation, the bed was really comfortable and the room lovely. The house has a peaceful feel. Nothing was too much trouble for Lynne. I thought the room was good value. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed here for 1 night for a concert at The Empire Theatre, what a little gem of a find, very very friendly hosts, Lyn, Kevin and their little dog Ted...|Room very clean, tidy and lots of little personal touches, such as biscuits , sweets and binoculars. Binoculars you may think is odd, but you over look the beautiful Crosby beach, also you can see the hills. |Breakfast all cooked fresh and also lots of locally sourced produce. |You could ask Lyn and a Kevin anything and they would help. |Thank you for a fantastic relaxing nights stay ...
