Last minute booking yesterday morning for last night. Room was large and plenty of space and a sofa to relax on if you wanted to. About a 10minute walk into the town all downhill. Little fridge in the room with a couple of bottles of water, cans of pop and fresh juice is you wanted, also plenty of tea/coffee and a couple of porridge pots. Lovely place, would stay again and also recommend booking early as we were lucky to find this

Beautiful little B&B. Nice stroll into Whitby, up a hill on the way back, but only 8 minutes walk to town. Host Gill is warm, friendly, and helpful. Lovely little rooms with ensuite, fluffy towels, little touches like throw pillow on couches, proper body wash in showers. Nice large rooms that are light and very clean. My last stay, the room had beautiful stained glass windows. Definitely recommend staying here.

My boyfriend and my self stayed for one night. Gill was very pleasant and welcoming even jack her dog came to say hello . We found the room very clean and spacious. Which we had a bath instead of a shower. Just a 5 minute walk to the shops and restaurants. We would stay at Gills again and book it through gill.😁

This is our second visit to Rivington House, which is no longer a B&B and now simply rents out rooms. A major feature here is the ample private parking, which is such an advantage in Whitby, and the house is very nice as well.||Our King Room (no 3) is large and very comfortable, and whereas we could deal with the rather small en-suite, I would suggest that large people might struggle. Obviously they no longer provide breakfast here, but owner Gill is happy for you to eat takeaway food in the lounge, and besides - it is only a 15 minute walk to the town centre and the plethora of cafes and restaurants therein.

Love this place, so clean lady was lovley and everything you could have possibly needed was there! Not a far walk from the centre, was just what we needed thankyou x

Absolutely amazing property and a wonderful host. On arrival we were welcomed by Jill and Jack the dog. First of all the property is beautiful from the outside with ample parking and a beautiful garden. We stayed in room one and it was truly amazing. The room was huge and decorated to a very high standard. An old Victorian freestanding style bath with spot lights to make it feel extra cosy. The bed is a king-size and is very comfortable. There is a separate power shower separately just for room one. The towels are big and on a heated rail. Beautiful mirror in the room. There is a good size TV with free view channels. Lovely little touches a mini fridge with some soft drinks and juices. Toiletries in the shower and good tea/coffee making facilities. The room is immaculate. We will be coming back very soon.
