A rather Spartan interior, partly compensated by a view of Gloucester Cathedral some 3 miles distant. It was not service with a smile or banter and the coffees and cake ordered, came up without the cake. We did notice some delicious-looking cornish Pasties being prepared for lunchtime, however! Access is fine for the disabled, with several car spaces and a ramp up to the entrance.

A great location on Robinswood Hill makes this a perfect rustic stop for refreshments and a stroll on the hill's many pathways. We've been a number of times and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere.

The cafe itself has adequate seating inside and a wooden veranda outside with a few tables giving nice views and shelter. You can buy drinks, snacks, ice cream and smoothies and there is plenty of play area outside for your kids.

It is near to a large rural car parking area, so normally easy to park. Being only 2 miles from Gloucester City it is surprisingly quiet and rural - a nice way to escape the bustle.

Good service and lovely venue. Some lovely sweet treats but unfortunately our coffees were so weak they just tasted of brackish hot water. We did try a second time but same again - possible to address this? ?

Regular visitor. Fantastic service , awaiting time was less than 3 min for coffee and milkshake at very busy Bank Holiday Monday. Recommend it, you can walk in with dog , eat in or have take away. Reasoneable prices.

The cake was nice and so was the coffee. We sat in rather than took away. However, the coffee was still served in disposable cups. I paid over £23 for 3 coffees and bits of cake and a can of Fanta, which I thought was steep. Also, I had to wait the best part of 15 minutes to be served.

Popped in for a break on a long journey. Staff were lovely and friendly, dogs allowed in the cafe. Limited choices of food but the food we had was good. It's a bit soulless and uncomfortable probably nicer in the summer when you can sit outside. We were intending to stop off again on our return journey but there is not enough here to make the detour worthwhile. Okay for a cuppa and a sandwich.

It does slightly different cafe fare. I am disabled and had to walk to the other side of the cafe from the disabled spaces, to get to the start of the slope! A long walk for me, that I could only do with help. It would make more sense to me to have at least SOME disabled spaces on the same side of the start of the slope to the cafe.
