We stayed in a two bed Sutton lodge with outdoor undercover hot tub.|Lodge was well equipped with a spacious open plan kitchen/diner/lounge with chairs comfortable seating and large tv. |Sliding doors led out to a decked area with patio table /chairs and bbq with woodland views.|2 large bedrooms each with shower rooms leading out to the hot tub. Washer/ dryer also available|Welcome amenity pack which is a nice touch.|Plenty of woodland walks to choose from although a lot of water lying around so bring wellies or walking boots if you intend going out for walks.|Very quiet site perfect if you want to get away from the daily hustle and bustle which we do when we visit. We have stayed several times now and have always been satisfied with our stay.

Stunning location and well equipped lodges. Truly felt so quiet and peaceful at times. Saw a herd of deer relatively close and just loved being able to walk straight into nature from accommodation. ||Lodge was clean overall but quite a few hairs around. The velvet furniture is sumptuous but does attract the hair. I either put cushions in the wardrobe or just used my lint roller to tidy up. I’m sure if I’d raised the issue it would have been sorted, but I’m weird and don’t like people coming into our room when we are away. Previous guests had some sort of cheese fest in toaster so didn’t want to burn cheese further so left toaster unused. ||Great onsite bistro, the menu is varied and has some excellent cocktails. The staff there looked after us and helped us feel comfortable dining out. ||It truly is a lovely place here-the staff all friendly and really do take care of the place. It’s a wonderful location to recharge.

Me and my partner stayed in a one bedroom lodge with a hot tub Mon - Fri and we had such a relaxing break. The lodge itself was very clean and had everything you could think of, welcome pack with tea, coffee and biscuits, milk in the fridge and a cleaning pack which was a lovely touch. Everything seemed very new still, the hot tub was so clean and was sunken so very private. The park itself was full as it was during the 6 weeks holiday but was still really relaxing and peaceful, it’s also set very far back from the road. We explored most of the walking trails, the big lake just a short walk from the lodges is very tranquil and makes a peaceful spot. We stopped and had a cider at the bistro one afternoon, the lady was so friendly and the strawberry cider was lovely! We had a lovely break and will definitely be returning in the future 🙂

From the initial emails for a contactless check in, the whole of our experience was seamless. The park and facilities are spotless and pristine, same goes to our lodge - we stayed in The Imagination which was immaculate. Everything you could possibly catered for within the lodge, if not above and beyond (coffee machine, complimentary pod, nultrabullet and even a small bottle of milk upon arrival). The on site children's park was a massive hit for my toddler and the hot tub was a lovely relaxing element for us parents (once the toddler hit the hay!). The beds were absolutely massive and so comfortable, so comfortable I have asked reception for further information on the topper and pillows! If you are looking for an escape from the busy day to day life, I cannot recommend Rockingham enough.

Absolutely amazing time, this must be our 12th visit now and we can’t wait to book our next break. We was here for new year and the weather turned, I’d like to thank Kuljit for arranging for us to stay an extra few days and moving lodges, I thought it would be a headache moving but it wasn’t, she’s been awesome with us, so a huge Thankyou. The staff at landal are fabulous, i do go to a few other landal parks but this is my favourite. It’s such a beautiful place and the lodges are fabulous. Any problems are sorted immediately from the wonderful team on call, even with a tv problem they’re there for you. Thanks Rockingham Forest for your fabulous team and lodges. Just returned from a weekend stay here with my husband and it was exactly what we needed! The area is so peaceful and has amazing surroundings. Our lodge was beautiful, immaculately clean and the aesthetic is so modern! It’s close to Peterborough town which was handy for us. There were a few things to point out. There was a pack of out of date bacon left in the wine fridge. The hot tub seemed to turn off multiple times when we were in it. The shower was leaking. There was a small gap at the bottom of the door and the drains were very slow in draining so water was just coming out of that gap. On our second night there was a high pitched squealing sound coming from a grey box in the boiler cupboard which woke me up a few times in the night and I did develop a headache from the noise. The last thing was on the ‘meet the team’ on the tv there was no mention of the housekeepers/cleaners that clean the lodges. I found this a little disappointing as their job is so important and vital to the business. Overall, even with the few cons we would return. I don’t think it’s worth marking down as there’s so many other great things to focus on. We just hope that when we return we don’t have experience the same high pitched noise. We treated our family to a lovely, relaxing break at Rockingham Forest to end our summer holiday. We arrived to a beautiful and immaculately clean lodge and soon felt very settled for our long weekend stay. Three decent sized bedrooms with crisp white bedding, two bathrooms, a huge kitchen/living area which looked out over the children's playground and football pitch which meant I could sit in the gorgeous hottub and watch my husband and son have a kick around whilst I enjoyed a glass of wine!||The lodge was fully equipped with all mod cons such as dishwasher, large television and music speakers which my teenage daughter used and loved. The television was extremely valuable as it informed us about all the lovely places we could eat nearby. ||We took advantage of a couple of the walks around and about. We particularly enjoyed the walk around the lake and also seeing the fairy garden. One highlight was seeing all the wildlife from birds and rabbits to wild deer which surrounded our lodge one evening. It was magical to see them so close to us! ||On our first night we ordered take away pizzas from the onsite bistro and these were incredible. Lovely staff and a beautifully relaxing site. Everyone is so friendly and the best part for us was that it is also very dog friendly meaning our little dog could join in with our holiday too! ||The location is perfect for accessing London and I took my daughter there for the day. We got the train from Peterborough train Station directly through to London and it was so easy. Meanwhile my husband took our son to play golf which was nearby too! |One day we went to Stamford which was only a 20 minute drive. Definitely go for a visit as it's the most beautiful town with wonderful shops, cafes, restaurants and so much more. ||Thank you Rockingham Forest for the most perfect relaxing weekend we were looking for. It was just what we needed before the stresses of school and work started again a few days later. We will definitely be back!

Was recommended to Rockingham Forest by a neighbour, this deservingly gets our “5” Star ⭐️ approval, what a Stunning Location, Lodges are very well Equipped with all Modern Appliances etc. and they are Extremely Comfortable with Superb En-Suite facilities, there are “3” types of Lodges here :- Quality, Platinum and V.I.P, we stayed in the “2” Bedroom Sutton V.I.P (Pet friendly), the size of this accommodation is amazing, probably as big as a “2” bedroom Bungalow if not bigger, Fantastic Hot 🥵 Tub that was under cover and looked 👀 amazing, especially at night time all lit up. We was recommended and we would certainly recommend this location to anyone‼️👍
