Rocky Hill is my kind of B&B, attending a friend's wedding nearby Ros and Andy could not have been more accommodating.|On arrival at this beautiful historic home we were greeted by Ros who made us feel very much welcome. Our room was simply lovely, everything we needed and the comfiest bed. In the morning we were met by Andy who cooked us a delicious breakfast, |thank you both for a wonderful stay, we can't recommend you highly enough and would definitely return

I don't normally do reviews, but this B&B deserves my effort: My daughter and I enjoyed the comfortable and spacious rooms offered by Roz and Andy in late September 2022. They were very accommodating, even allowing another daughter, staying in the area on business, to share breakfast with us. Such lovely people! The floor boards may have creaked a bit, but what do you expect in a 500-year old house? Best recommendation has to be the hot water - something of a rarity in the UK, I've found.

We booked Rocky Hill House not really knowing what to expect, we literally needed a place to lay our heads as we were going to a party. Well, what a pleasant surprise we had. Roslyn the host was so welcoming, I'd previously spoken with her on the phone and she sounded lovely and in person, she was just the same.||||I don't think I've ever felt so welcome at a B & B. The house was huge and our room was beautifully presented, clean and also very big. We had the family room and there was plenty of space for 3. There was a kettle, fresh milk and some biscuits, which was great. We also had a big jug of water. with glasses. ||||The bathroom was lovely and the shower was very good and we had big soft fluffy towels. There was free wifi and a TV. The bed was so comfortable and the pillows were too. I normally struggle with pillows elsewhere but these were very nice.||||We were asked what time we wanted breakfast and we opted for 9am. We went down to be greeted by Roslyn and Andy and a table full of jams, spreads, orange juice and cereals. We also had toast followed by a wonderful fry up. Just what we needed after a night out!||||Our hosts were so lovely and welcoming, they told us some of the history of the house which was fascinating. The parking was great and a fab location to walk into Maidstone.||||I would highly recommend staying here. We felt very safe, looked after and well catered for on our stay.

Rose was a wonderful host and full of contagious humor. The house met exactly the expectations of a B & B. A cosy room in an enchanted house (500 y old!), a lot of memorabilia that could tell their story. And Rose- always in a in a good mood. A little bit tricky to find, but Google maps did it. Highly recommended.

Our stay here was delightful. Ros and Andy are the perfect hosts! They were really helpful and friendly, and did everything they could to make our visit a pleasure. Maidstone is ideally placed with many places of interest close by in every direction.||Rocky Hill House itself was originally a hunting lodge built in the 1500s, with Georgian additions, so it is brim full of character and charm. I loved the magnificent old staircase and fireplaces. It is very quiet inside. You would never believe that you are so close to a busy road, which is very convenient. Many B&B homes are small and the bedrooms when you have suitcases can feel cramped, but Rocky Hill House is large and spacious, so you can spread yourselves out. Our room and bed was very comfortable, with a private ensuite. WiFi reception is strong, TV and tea-making facility are included. Breakfast was very substantial and nicely presented. We loved it, and the nice thing is that you can stay here without breaking the bank. There is even a larger room which would be economical for families.||What did I like best? Good location and the ambience and character of the old house. What did I like least? The fact that we could only stay for two nights! Thanks for sharing your lovely home with us, Ros and Andy.

Rocky hill house is a beautiful old house with many characterful rooms that has perfectly fulfilled its destiny by becoming a b&b! Each room is different and my room was beautifully and sympathetically decorated. I had such a wonderful nights sleep. It's very peaceful too - you would never know you were 5 minutes from the town centre. The owners are so welcoming and such wonderful hosts - they could not have been nicer. And to have a delicious breakfast included in the price (which is too low in my opinion!) was an added bonus. I honestly wished I was staying for more than just one night and am now thinking up excuses to go back! I would highly recommend this lovely place to anyone thinking of visiting Maidstone or the surrounding areas.

What can I say that hasn’t already been said..? I had the pleasure of a two night stay at Rocky Hill House; a wonderful B&B. What a treasure. A beautiful listed building with a magnificent entrance hall, grand staircase and plenty of other interesting historical features. My en suite room was spacious, warm and quiet. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. Ros and Andy provided plenty of tea and coffee, plus biscuits, and the cooked breakfast was delicious. Plenty of it too! Gracious hosts with whom I had interesting chats. Great to be made to feel so welcome; thank you Ros and Andy. I hope to stay again in the future and will certainly be recommending to family, friends and colleagues.

We stayed two nights at Rocky Hill House, and the house and room were fantastic. We enjoyed the charm and character of an older house, with an updated en-suite. Ros and Andy were very accommodating and helpful. The bed was very large and comfortable. The only thing I would want differently would be a key to our room, especially since there were other people staying as well. However, the house was obviously secure and safe.
