We had a superb dinner of crab cakes, fresh sweet chilli crab claws, scallops and homemade brownie. The crab was some of the best we’ve ever had and the atmosphere in the pub was great. A real gem of a proper local pub, serving delicious unpretentious food!

We particularly wanted the fresh crab & lobster which are both subject to availability- I rang in advance and the lovely lady I spoke to confirmed they were on the menu & reserved a table for us. Wonderful fresh crab baguette followed by the tastiest lobster and fries - a fitting end to our few days in Cornwall. Thank you!!!😊

Impromptu visit. Brilliant place. Lovely owners and bar staff. Food looked great, drinks very good. Huge log fireplace. Friendly customers. Will visit again soon hopefully.

Another fab meal here with the family.
Beautiful fish and chips. Very fresh.
Very friendly welcome.
A must visit when in the area.

With easy off-road parking opposite ( and a big play area too ) , the location is ideal.
We will definitely be coming back again.

Delicious Fresh Fish dishes. A must if your in this part of Cornwall. Proper Cornish pub that offers fresh fish dishes. There Crab claws are so good. They do meat dishes too but my wife and I couldn’t resist the fish on offer. The owner is the Chef, hence why the food is so good. Such a great vibe too. Will definitely be returning to this fantastic pub. We stayed the night and the room was immaculate and fitted out to a very high standard. Thanks to all the team for a great night and delicious food.
