Having dismissed some very over-priced options in the area, I tried here and was hugely impressed! The location is quiet and charming, the immaculate decor and furnishings reflect the colours of the beautiful gardens outside. There is a lovely welcome and everything is done to put guests at their ease.||||Spacious accommodation and an extremely comfortable bed. The bathroom to my room was large and well laid-out with a shower that was actually easy to use!||||Nice location for breakfast - which itself whilst not the most adventurous was perfectly good. Overall for the very reasonable price was an exceptionally delightful option.

Lovely B&B- we booked for a weekend stay as we were attending a nearby party. |Contacted Jo by email and got a quick response. We had a lovel 4 poster room with adjoining en-suite-nice welcoming touches like in room teas and coffee and thoughtful toiletries. Breakfast cooked by Jo was superb with a wide choice and fresh ingredients.A charming place in a lovely location with a great hostess. Jo has a Portuguese place to rent and I know it will be as welcoming .

To call this a B&B is really not grand enough! It’s absolutely beautiful - my rooms were amazing - from gorgeous bedroom to en suite & hall area where I could dry my hair & make a cup of tea etc. The owners are fantastic - friendly & cannot do enough to accommodate one’s needs. The beds are extremely comfortable & rooms tastefully decorated with coordinated bed linens. The breakfast was superb - best scrambled eggs ever with smoked salmon & toast as required. Extra tea/coffee offered & there was a selection of fresh fruits, yoghurts & cereal to start along with juices. A range of different breakfast options including mushrooms & organic tomatoes. The dining area is equally beautiful - the rates are surprisingly reasonable for such a high quality place & every guest made the same comment.

Stayed here for a couple of nights in August. Fantastic B&B, Rooms were lovely and clean and bright. Jo and her husband were fantastic hosts.|Breakfast was fabulous.|Fantastic little break away with my little family which was much needed. Loved loved loved it!

We were attending a wedding at the great barn, which this B&B is perfect for (£7 in a cab at midnight - but book early cos there aren’t that many cab firms).||A bit off the beaten track, so peaceful. They have a driveway so your car is off the road. Bedrooms all have their own key. Our room was small but cosy. They have 2 dogs, who are not left roaming the house unless you’ve met them first. I believe you are able to bring your dog too.||Breakfast was very nice with plenty of options. Our hosts were very accommodating and pleasant.

Cannot fault this B&B. The owner was on hand for everything we needed, the rooms were comfy with wet room en suite, breakfast was delicious and our early departure was accommodated perfectly. Highly reecommended.

were very welcoming very friendley and such lovely people nothing is to much trouble the rooms are lovely the breackfast is 5 star the cottage is in a realy quite place if u need peace and quite this is the place for you
