This is a lovely restaurant and the food came highly recommended to me before going.

I had the vegan breakfast (which unfortunately is the only vegan option on the menu). I swapped the mushrooms for a hash brown with no issues and the breakfast was extremely good! The staff were really nice and helpful.

More vegan options needed though!

I ordered the Turkish eggs (cilbir), and they were perfectly cooked and fantastic that it was a 3 egg portion! The decor is lovely and I can’t wait to go back to try other things from the menu. About time we got nice places to eat lunch in the village! Well done guys!

The BEST breakfast/brunch/lunch in the South East. Food is tastyyyyy.. be prepared to leave 2 stone heavier as you’ll want everything on the menu. Food, service and restaurant decor is 10/10!
My 7 year old even agrees, he says they are the best pancakes his ever had. Theres a huge car park just 30 seconds away, so no need to be driving around looking for parking spaces! I highly recommend to anyone who is thinking of visiting.

Thanks Romies you’re the best ♥️

Visited Romies numerous times since opening. Ive eaten there both for breakfast and lunch. With every meal I’ve had there the food has come out looking pretty and tasting great. There’s such a diverse range of food on the menu it’s hard to decide what you want, hence the multiple visits.

Value for money is there, quality of the ingredients used and portion sizes are more than fair. Coffees are really nice too. Staff are really friendly and the restaurant is always clean and tidy.

Photo below is of The Brekky (with Mushrooms and Tomato taken off) and the Dirty Eggs.

10/10.

What a beautiful brasserie and great decor that is tranquil and tantalising.

The food is spot on and the portion is great value for money.

Cilbir is brilliant and 3 poached eggs for £12 is value for your money.

Only recommendation for me is to add garlic and dill to the yoghurt, but apart from that this dish is amazing without anyway.

I will return and this will be a hidden gem for Bexley.

There is only one word i can describe Romie's.... AMAZING

The food was AMAZING, we ordered the mushroom pasta and the steak sandwich. The pasta was perfectly cooked with a nice amount of creamy mushroom goodness, with their crispy, moist and seasoned fried chicken. The steak sandwich was nicely toasted with beautifully cooked steak and delicious pickles inside, and even the fries did not fall short. All of that finished off with an aesthetically drizzled balsamic glaze. I couldn't complain.

And last but not least our desert. The banna scofy i believe it was called. Again, Romie's does not fall short of the word AMAZING here. The pancakes were fluffy, with a caramelised banana on top, biscoff sauce, garnished with promenade seeds and summer flowers. The portion size was more than enough for the of us.

The service was AMAZING , with staff smiling and greeting you into this cute green establishment. We regularly got topped up with tap water, which always had ice and a bit of lemon in it. Very nice touch. A detail that most places don't bother to worry about.

And last but not least the Atmosphere of the place was AMAZING. It was beautifully decorated, you can tell a lot of thought and effort went into the place. Just 30 second walk away from a car park as well. In the heart of bexley village. A must visit if your ever about.

To sum it up Romie's has become one of my favourite spots in the south side of london. And i will be back for more.

Been a few times now and the food is consistently excellent. It does the best breakfast in the village, and it's the only place locally to get a proper Sunday roast. The roast was perfect, the beef still with lots of colour and all the sides done to perfection. The service is decent.

Need a kiddies portion roast on the menu, and I think the breakfast options might need some tweaking over time. (Your McMuffin copy is really good but do it with a hash brown as an option 😉 ). Also if you did bacon / sausage / egg sarnies you might get some decent walking trade in the mornings as there isn't anywhere decent in Old Bexley for that type of thing, apart from the Village Cafe.

Great start from this place!
